Excellent facilities and friendly welcome. Good location next to walking trails.

Pomeroy is our favourite campsite for a reason! The amenity block is luxurious with underfloor heating and sparkling clean facilities. The pitches are well-maintained and boast gorgeous views over fields. There's direct access onto a trail for hikers and cyclists, and two excellent pubs serving delicious food are within walking distance. The campsite shop sells not only delicious ice cream but also treats to feed the adorable pygmy goats, making it a perfect place for families.

Lovely little site on a working farm. Stayed in our campervan, excellent pitches and excellent toliet and shower facilities. Great place as a base if you enjoy walking. Great value for money, will definitely return

Pomeroy is perfectly situated for plenty of bike rides and walks on the High Peak.Everything that was available such as power and water worked perfectly well and the shower block was exceptionally warm and clean which is always a fantastic selling point.The shop and staff therein were lovely and also helpful.It was not too far from a couple of pubs so all good.

Good stay on this site which is just off the busy A515 to Buxton but set back far enough so the noise from the road is tolerable.Fantastic amenities. Warm, clean ,and hot showers . Nice site and next to cycling trails and good walking. Friendly and helpful staff. The Royal Oak is a short walk away and does good honest pub grub. Will definately be back, lots to explore in the local area.

We had a great stay at Pomeroy. The site was clean, easily accessible and not too large. The kids loved the animals and on-site access to milk. The bathrooms were a delight, really warm and clean. It was great to have easy access to dog walks as well being near to some beautiful scenery, walks and things to see and do.

Lovely spot, nice size pitch. The site was lovely and quiet in the evenings. Best part was the ice cream and the fresh milk!! Toilet facilities where clean and warm, there was plenty of washing up sinks. The only thing I can think of to improve on may be a small swing and slide, something along those lines as we struggled to entertain our little ones when we weren't out somewhere.

Toilet & shower block are beautiful, warm & very clean. The washing up area is easily located. The shop has basic essentials but enough if you've forgotten the odd item. The milk & milkshakes from the machine is an added bonus not too mention the ice-cream. I can highly recommend the Baileys & salted caramel & hubby goes for the Raspberry ripple every time. Lots of great walks from the site, great for walkers & cyclists. Highly recommended the Royal Oak at hurdlow. Very pleasant & helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at pomeroy caravan park . The shower and toilet block was clean and modern and heated. All other facilities were good , good space for dog owners to take their dogs and great access to tissington trail .
