Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.
One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.
The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.
Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.
On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.
Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.
For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.
All our hard standing pitches are super pitches, which are hard standing with your own fresh water tap and grey waste disposal drain.

The most beautiful campsite with the best facilities of any site we've stayed on! Very well maintained with large pitches (electric) and and immaculate facilities. Also a really useful shop with great pizza on Saturday night :-) Campsite wardens super helpful! The only thing to be aware of is that it does get very busy and while the site can accommodate this, if you're after a quiet few days away, better to go during the week.
Have stayed here at least once per year for several years and would stay again. However on this stay there were several big partioes which spoiled it for us. I know the site cant control everything but they can control who books. Alot of noise late at night meant it was hard to sleep. Otherwise a great stay
The campsite is well maintained and the facilities are kept clean and tidy. There is plenty of space on the main field and the use of picnic tables a nice touch, although they could benefit from having more. There is a quite curfew from 11pm which is a reasonable time for most, however when we were there this weekend there were a few groups of adults who didn't think that applied to then and the warden was called at 11.15 to come and ask them to be quite. Rather than waiting for a phone call would it not be better that a tour of the site is done just after 11pm to ensure the rules are being adhered to and nipped in the bud early and people asked to not only turn their music off but to keep voice levels down too after all being in a tent isn't a sound barrier for loud voices. This is the one thing that spoilt our weekend and we left the site before 7.30am on Sunday through sheer lack of sleep for the two nights we were there due to other in considerate campers.
Loved the pizzas, the shop, and the facilities. Great location, lovely views. Seems very new and clean, with a great deal of thought gone into everything. Large camping field, which despite being a hot, summer weekend was full but still very spacious. Camping tables and fire pit appreciated. Shop excellent value. It was noisy (one drunk woman!) on the first night, but you get that at all campsites. Had I read the info fully, there was a mobile no. provided to deal with noise incidents. Second night was fine. Would highly recommend, well be back! Thank you :-)
Had a great stay at the site , all amenities absolutely spotlessly clean and modern, staff super friendly and great atmosphere around the site with absolutely amazing views (love this place ) will definitely be returning
First time in a POD and thoroughly enjoyed it. We have been to Orcabar Farm on many occasions and always love it.
This is my favourite camp site of all time. We (two adults and our three year old) recently had our fifth stay there and as always it was perfect. The site itself is situated in beautiful countryside with views in all directions. The toilet and shower blocks.are spacious, spotlessly clean and modern - the showers are a particular highlight. The shop, while small, has all the essentials and everything is reasonably priced. And the staff are friendly, super helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay perfect.Nearby are plenty of great walks, caves and attractions such as Malham Cove, and we'd also recommend the nearby Cheese shop, and Seasons bakery in IngletonI honestly can't recommend this site highly enough.
Stayed 3 nights here only wished we could of stayed longer , from the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman nothing too much trouble , after having a quick look round we heading off to explore settle . Throughout our visit the showers /toilet blocks were immaculate . No wonder they charge 50p for showers they are amazing I could have stayed in them for hours !! A very well kept park can’t wait to return !
We return to Orcaber every year, we first went here when it was just a small field so we have watched it grow over the years, since we found this gem of a campsite we have not considered any other site, it's a great place to bring a family with a big field for them to football ect. We always find there's camaraderie between campers always willing to help each other if needed.
Very happy with the long weekend stay we had with orcaber farm. Travelled up from Norfolk so quite a way, was warmly welcomed, then pleasantly surprised by the fab facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay..Love the daily wood round and the fab views of the Yorkshire hills in the background.. lots to do around the area to which leaflets are provided; we came for the greenlanes but what a bonus! we will be back. Thanks to owners/ managers and staff
