Next to reception is the games room, a well prepared safe indoor area for children with a good selection of arcade machines and games, pool and table tennis tables and an air hockey table.
For energetic kids to burn off steam outside, we also have an imaginatively laid out outdoor play area creatively built into the hillside.

Reception is well equipped with fishing nets, buckets for children and river shoes for both adults and children.
Further downstream, the Wenning offers excellent fishing on our own private stretch. Daily, weekly and seasonal fishing permits are available from reception*.

We booked last minute as we were visiting the area in our Campervan. The staff were very friendly, the amenities were immaculate at all times during our 2 night stay. We will without doubt be back for a longer stay and recommend the site if you are traveling the area site seeing. The site is dog friendly which is an absolute bonus.
Can't fault this park, the pitches are a great size the toilet and shower block are spotless would definitely recommend
Fabulous cottage, clean and comfortable. Lovely stay, would highly recommend. Stunning scenery, brilliant walks.
We always have a nice relaxing stay at Riverside, nice walks and the dog loves trying to find the rabbits
Just great. Was our first ever touring caravan site visit several years ago and still holds a special place in our hearts. Always clean, tidy and suitable for just us or all the grandchildren. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Husband very much likes the fishing!
This site is advertised as family-friendly, but in our experience, that wasn’t the case. We were asked to keep our children quiet while playing, and were told scooters, roller skates, remote control cars, and other toys were not allowed. The night security guard made my son cry by shouting at him and telling him to get off his scooter before we had even finished setting up.On Saturday night, we had a small Bluetooth speaker playing music quietly at our pitch. We were told to keep the noise down and that all music had to be turned off completely by 10pm. We politely said we would turn it down further to just background music, but were firmly told “off at 10.”Considering we paid over £100 for two nights, this really ruined our evening. It was still light outside, yet there was an expectation of complete silence from 10pm. We understand rules are needed, but this felt overly strict and not very welcoming for families.Sadly, we won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this site fo
This site is advertised as family friendly but we think it really isn't the case in our situation. We was asked that our children keep noise down when playing. Scooters rollerskates and other toys small remote control car wasn't aloud. Security old man made my son cry by shouting at him and telling him to get off his scooter, this is before we had even setup. Saturday night we had a small bt speaker which was playing music not loud at all. We was told to keep the noise down and music completely off at 10 o'clock we said politely we will turn it even lower as background music but was told NO OFF AT 10 being spoken to like children when we paid over £100 for 2 nights. This ruined our night and it was still not dark but absolute silence at 10 come on let us have some fun we've paid enough to come. We will never come back here and I'll advise people with children avoid.
