Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.
One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.
The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.
Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.
On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.
Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.
For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.
All our hard standing pitches are super pitches, which are hard standing with your own fresh water tap and grey waste disposal drain.

Once again a fab stay, one of our top 5 Sites we have stayed at, As usual Shower Block immaculate. Check-in very easy.Lovely clean site with fabulous views.
Toilet block / showers quality. Good firm hardstandings and services.Good location for exploring Dales. What’s not to like.Frank.
I stayed in one of the three new pods. Very clean and comfortable with underfloor heating. The site is situated just within the forest of Bowland and on the Western edge of the Yorkshire dales. It's a great getaway from the rat race whatever the weather. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This site is very good value for money.
First impressions were of a very tidy and well maintained site. The pitch was very big compared to the usual C&C and C&M sites and fully serviced. Having a picnic table is a plus although the weather was bad so we didn’t use it. Shower and toilet block was very modern, clean and well maintained. Showers are 50p for 10 mins and were hot and a good flow. The shop wasn’t open because of low site occupancy so can’t comment. It is obvious that the majority of Caravan pitches are seasonal which limits the number of touring pitches available so in high season book early. The tent area is enormous and I can imagine is very busy in high season which will put pressure on the shower blocks and other facilities. Location is great for the Game Cock inn at Austwick and walking the ingleborough area. Shops at Settle and Ingleton are not too far away.
We are frequent visitors to or or orcarber and have been for 10 years , my only negative is that they don’t put the heating on in the toilets / showers , this will stop us returning over winter I’m afraid , just come back from a 3 night stay and when it’s cold in Austwick it’s cold , and the shower block need to be warm
Great place to stay. Highly recommended. Definitely staying here again. Lots of fantastic walks.
Nice surroundings and lovely views, clean toilets and shower block. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Showers were very clean and lovely and hot.Lovely campsiteWill definitely book again!
Quite a few changes since the last time we stayed but still the same great experience - our go-to campsite in the western Yorkshire Dales
