At the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Orcaber Farm welcomes guests to its tranquil holiday park all year round. Flawlessly forged amidst the raw beauty of the Three Peaks and Bowland AONB, this park is an exceptional escape in nature. Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.

One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.

The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.

The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.

Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.

On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.

Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.

For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.

Lovely Site

This was probably our 4th or 5th visit and will definitely return.Toilets and shower blocks are clean and water hot for showers.Large pitches, friendly helpful staff and good prices. We stayed in a small pod this time and the only minor thing I could say to improve would be a lockable storage box outside would be brilliant.Keeping walking boots out of the pod in inclement weather?

Think this is out 5th or 6th time staying at orcaber . We live this place as it is so clean and quiet its just the perfect place to stay for us. To wake up in the morning in them surroundings just can't be beaten for me . I am a keen cyclists so I love the quiet lanes early in the morning . I take my dogs for the morning pee then off I go . I can get out and back before the wife has even risen. Just in time for breakfast if I am lucky .

Nice place, friendly and clean. But if get spot next to road, which is busy you will get wake up at night and if you have small children they will to, as well staff should be on site till 830pm, but there was no one from 6pm and no one answered the phone, they call back later, but if you are new to this type of holiday it get a bit worry.

Baptism of fire

Brooke, David - 09/10/2025

First time in our new Motorhome and would have to be during one of the worst storms this year. Was greeted on our arrival and whilst I had booked a pitch some distance from the reception we were offered an alternative pitch just across from the reception.Managed to get out for a few walks over the weekend, and also checked out the facilities, which I can say with confidence are second to none. The site is well set out, although slightly open to the elements.Despite the weather I would definitely recommend you try this site, particularly if you like walking.

Quiet, spacious with great views

Aykroyd, Robert - 06/10/2025

Well signposted site close enough to A65 so as not to worry about driving caravan on tiny roads but far enough not to get any traffic noise. Welcomed by Reece on Reception. Our pitch was in the "tent field" but very easy to find. Our fully serviced touring pitch was great. Spacious and level gravel area. Our electric tripped a couple of times but not a real problem. We were far from facilities, which wasn't a problem for us but pick a closer pitch if it's important. Two facilities blocks with clean and plentiful toilets and showers. Views from the site are terrific. Great location for 3 peaks walks, Ingleton Falls, White Scar caves etc. Ingleton and Settle are great villages to visit but we did our main shopping in Skipton. Rind pizza restaurant is closed by and worth a visit. We had a great time in early autumn and will definitely be going back .

Perfect customer service from the arrival Asked if we could move pitch and no issue dealt with immediately Fully serviced pitch and very fair price indeed Value for money incredible Facilities Small shop a little under stocked I think if we were camping however we’re in our caravan And tend to take stick with us Washrooms and showers Spotless spotless spotless !! Loved the piped music whilst showering Small 50 p charge for showers which I totally understand and gives a total 10 mins of red hot shower Would really consider a seasonal pitch here as facilities 5 star But the icing on the cake !! Those views Even when the rains came
