Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.

One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.

The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.

The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.

Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.

On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.

Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.

For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.

We stayed here to walk the 3 peaks, it was a great location. It’s the best site we have stayed at with our caravan so far (only our 4th trip away) the staff are really lovely and helpful. Loved the onsite shop! The pizzas Saturday night and bacon buns Sunday morning were a great hit as were the fire pits. The toilets and showers, amazing! I will pay all day long those 50p’s for a constant HOT running shower! Nobody likes pressing those annoying buttons every 30 seconds 😂 Oh, the dog field! Brilliant! So nice to be able to let the dogs have some freedom. I have no complaints at all! We will definitely return.

Weekend trip

We have stayed here a few times but this time was a bit frustrating. There is an 11pm curfew which is late for a campsite as it is normally 10pm but on the field at the back of us was a group who decided to play music at 12.30am till 2 and talk too. Being in a tent you can hear everything that’s going on so hence to say we had little sleep. The campsite in general is excellent and facilities are very clean

Amazing Site.

McDonald, Tracey - 19/05/2026

This was our third time at this wonderful site and certainly won't be our last. Pitches are a great size more than enough room for a camper and awning on the gravel still leaving the grass area for sitting out. Wooden tables are supplied on each pitch. Mains hook up and water are at the serviced pitches so no wandering around for water or trailing 20 meter cables. The attention to detail is easily noticed. The site is well thought out. Two main toilet and shower blocks. Around 12 washing up sinks, a dog wash. Bins within easy access of the hardstanding and camping areas. Even the loo rolls are great quality an unusual thing at a camp site. Everywhere is kept so clean by the hardworking team. There is a huge enclosed dog field just over the road from the site great for your furry friends to let off some steam. There is a little shop open from 9am that is very well stocked with essentials and camping gear, kettles, hookups, windbreaks etc. This site is one of the best I have visited.

Excellent campsite, large pitches, great facilities

Butterworth, Joanne - 16/05/2026

Our second time here and we have booked to come again in August. Lovely clean site with great facilities. The dogs loved the little river area for a swim and the off lead dog field is big enough for wanger and ball. We didn't travel out much due to the weather but plan more exploring in August. Oh and the home made pizzas are highly recommended!

Ruined camping in tents!

Barnes, Hannah - 14/05/2026

We have everything you could possibly want to camp in a tent, including a really great tent! But after staying in these gorgeous pods I fear camping may be ruined for life! Heated floor, electricity, and privacy - we loved EVERY. SINGLE. SECOND.
