Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.
One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.
The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.
Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.
On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.
Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.
For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.

Wanted to take our dog on his first camping trip to see how he took to it so wanted somewhere nice and quiet and able to book a specific pitch away from others in case he didn't like being in a tent etc. I had seen Orcaber Farm a number of times so booked when I did as it was quiet and weather nice. On arriving checked in easily by Reece and a nice chat with him. Also met others working there and all very friendly. Pitch was big and had bench-table too. Not many about which suited. Very clean site and good toilets/showers. Shop had a good selection of things. There is a nice walk into Clapham by river and also an enclosed dog field which was great for first and last thing walks. Dog took to camping well so will be back here often.
Absolutely faultless across the site. Toilet / shower block is pristine. We've stayed before and will again. However, as we have this time, we will choose a quieter (i.e. term time) period during the year when the place has the feel of a much smaller place . The site is large and presumably very busy in peak periods.
I used this site as a solo cyclist doing the "Way of the Roses" route. I arrived about 6pm, but shop and reception was already closed. I phoned the displayed number and the owner (?) arrived on a quad-bike loaded with firewood for sale. There was an extra 50p charge to use the shower, which I find an absurdity these days: why not just include it in the cost? One area I was shown to go with my small tent seemed very stoney, so I opted for a pitch amongst the campervans in the main grassy area. I'm a fan of good music, but some crass radio station was playing loudly in the toilet block that made me want to spend as little time as possible in there. That noise was was even there at 4am in the morning when I made a brief visit! I cannot believe that the majority of campers want that.
We found this a very clean and quiet campsite., in a wonderful location, with walks from the doorstep. Check-in was easy, and everyone was very helpful. The dog exercise area was an added bonus. We will definately be back.
Great site, relaxed atmosphere, the best showers you can get and you can have a fire.
A very well kept site with excellent facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful views and surroundings. Superb cheese shop just down the road. 😊. Only one thing I could find was a bit lacking and that was water taps. There wasn't many, so for a lot of pitches it was quite a walk to the nearest one. Could do with a few more.
Fantastic campsite, so clean and very accessible. We’ve been several times and plan to return.Highly recommend!
Arrived on Easter Saturday and the pitch was ready to draw onto. Although the site was busy, it didn't seem crowded or noisy, just a nice holiday vibe. It is so peaceful, far enough away from the main road to not hear the traffic, and who doesn't mind the odd tractor rumbling past on the lane? It's the first time we've tried a fully serviced pitch and I'm now a convert! So convenient to have endless water on tap, and not necessary to keep an eye on waste water levels either. We'll definitely do this again!
Very clean facilitiesNice hot showers with music playing in the background Very dog friendly with the playing field Nice walks nearby to Clapham. Saw Mill cafe nice and good value for money and nice nature trail. Also visited Elaines cafe at Feizor
Great flat pitches, the grass/soil is stoney though so you do need a mallet or high pain threshold. Staff very friendly and helpful.Good local walks and general location for Y3P and other sales walks - Ingleton falls, White Sca caves and even locally organised ghyl scrambling and caving.
