Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.
One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.
The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.
Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.
On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.
Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.
For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.
All our hard standing pitches are super pitches, which are hard standing with your own fresh water tap and grey waste disposal drain.

This place is the perfect spot, with it’s beautiful surroundings and it’s spotlessness. Been twice now and will always return in the warmer seasons. I brought my dog this time, which was lovely as there is a field designated to dogs so they can let off some steam! The toilet and shower facilities are absolutely spotless and spacious, and the owners are so welcoming and friendly. To future visitors, please respect the owners by respecting all the rules, they have really put their heart and souls into this hidden gem of a place!
Dear Bryony thank you for review , We’re glad we made your experience with us a great one and hopefully see you again soon .Our team here at Orcaber are dedicated and committed and thankyou again for taking time out to write the review .Orcaber Team
We returned here for a second time in less than a year, after loving our first visit. This time rather than camping we opted for a camping pod - April isn't the warmest or driest month! Once again we found the site to be well run, with spotlessly clean toilet and shower facilities, friendly reception staff and well-kept grounds. The pod itself was cosy and warm (the heater made sure of that!) and had several power and usb sockets. The location is ideal for lots of local walks - this time we did the Ingleton Waterfall Trail, and headed up to Malham. It's also in a beautiful setting, surrounded by fields and well away from the main road - at night it's completely silent and peaceful. We will absolutely be returning to this site in future.

If I could give more stars I would, cleanliness is outstanding, friendliness outstanding. Views are beautiful. This site is ideal for a walking holiday, chilling or shopping in Skipton or settle.
Jennifer thankyou for the lovely 5* review , we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and managed to explore the local area . We look forward to welcoming you in the near future back at Orcaber .Many Thanks Orcaber Team
On recommendation we booked a hard standing, serviced pitch, which was of a great size and on arrival we were welcomed warmly by Elaine who explained everything thoroughly. The site is immaculate, and it is extremely well run and the owners are always available and they make sure everyone has a peaceful enjoyable stay. The facilities are scrupulously clean, and the hot showers and toilets are by far the best we have been to.Fire pits are available on site also which is a bonus.A 15 minute walk over the road takes you to Austwick, a lovely quaint village with a fabulous views, and to the Game Cock Inn bar/restaurant/bakery which serve amazing homemade food, snacks and a good range of traditional cask ales, there is also a few shops and a choice of walks to suit all.We were so impressed with Orcaber Farm, we have booked to go back!

It was a little quiet, but that was due to the time we chose to come. We have been here on a number of occasions and the welcome is always very friendly. The toilet and shower block are always kept immaculately clean. Would recommend for anyone.
Wonderful site, immaculate condition. Showers are amazing for 50p lots of lovely walks from the site. Stayed in March when the weather was wet and the pods were very warm, perfect to stay in rather than packing away a wet tent. Lots of space. A wonderful site.
Very nice clean site - we just had really bad weather so would like to go back in the summer
My 3rd visit. Great place to escape to and climb mountains! Very clean. Plenty of toilets and showers. Friendly staff. My only negative comment is poor wi fi but that might be a good thing!! I read a whole book whilst there. So relaxing. Can’t wait to come back.
Hi Helen thankyou for the great review, glad you had a relaxing time while here at Orcaber in our pods. We can only apologise for the poor WIFI , the weather as played apart in the reception we received over the last few weeks.Look forward to welcoming you again at Orcaber in the near future .Orcaber Team
Great value. Amazing showers. Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful location. Really close to Ingleton Waterfall trail which we did and absolutely loved.
Was a fantastic site, couldn't fault any of the staff or facilities. Cleaned and maintained to a high standard constantly. Pitches are a good size with plenty of room. Safe and secure dog field which was great for accommodating an excited pup
