Norden Farm, Dorset, England

Norden Farm is located in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck- set back from the main road, but with easy access. It is a rural farm site and may not be suitable for those looking for ready-made entertainment!

There are three adjacent, level grass fields offering electric hook up pitches, with an additional six- acre, non- electric field for tents and camper vans in peak season. There are no hard-standing pitches at present.

Onsite facilities include flush toilets and chemical disposal points, hot showers and private wash basins, a family room, disabled toilets and wet room (ambulant or aided only), separate laundry and washing-up rooms, a well-stocked farm shop, and a pooch parlour (a wet room and warm shower for dogs). For children, there is a play area and ball games court. We have a fridge and freezer for our campers, along with a locker facility for charging phones.

Most facilities are free for campers to use. WIFI is available for a small fee.

In addition to camping, a traditional farm cottage is also available for hire. This sleeps four and is situated on site, with its own private garden. Norden House is also available as a large self- catering holiday home that sleeps up to fourteen people.

Norden Farm is conveniently located for using public transport, making us the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Purbeck! Norden has two bus stops outside our site entrance, and two steam railway stations a short walk away, making access to Swanage or Poole simple and easy.

Norden is also only 3.5 miles from the ancient town of Wareham, where you will find an array of pubs, shops and the River Frome. Wareham also has a train link to Weymouth or London.

This campsite also boasts a footpath (taking roughly 20 minutes) directly from our campsite into the historic village of Corfe Castle, where you will find three pubs, the bakery and the castle ruins!

From the site, you can take a short drive to beaches such as Studland, Sandbanks and Lulworth Cove! Families will love exploring local attractions such as Dorset Water Park, The Tank Museum and Monkey World!

Excellent caravan and camping

An excellent site,staff were very friendly and kept the site immaculate , facilities are some best I've seen and kept very clean even when it was very busy.the shop had everything you could possibly need and the small garden centre was a bonus with some very healthy plants.The site is positioned very well for walking and exploring the area.I would thoroughly recommend this site and have done to colleagues and friends.

We had visited the farm shop several times but this was the first time staying here with our caravan. The pitch was a great size and close to amenities. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back.

As always, we had a fabulous time at Norden Farm and the surrounding area. The site is very well kept and the facilities very clean and tidy. The surrounding woods are fabulous for dog walks, you can walk miles, and great for a bit of respite from the heat. We've explored the area many times over the years, it is a very beautiful part of the world, and the beaches are just gorgeous. We will be back.

We have finally found a site that we would be happy to return to again. It was very peaceful but I must add we went mid week when it wasn't school holidays . Lots of space on the main field that we were put on. Fantastic showers. Great location for swanage. Studland and other great places to visit in the area. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here with 6 other “oldie” couples. Lovely house, very well equipped, beautiful gardens. Close enough to Corfe castle to walk in. Very close to bus stops and station. We didn’t use our car for the whole 5 days we were there!! Lovely welcome pack of a cream tea which was very much appreciated. Would definitely book again.

Charity run stay

A well laid out and clean site with really good facilities from a shop, which just about has everything you need, to mobile phone charging lockers, fridge and freezer for customer use. Location is a 20 minute walk into Corfe Castle via a safe walking route. There is a footpath that runs through the site for access to the Purbeck Hills. So it is very easy to get out walking from the site without having to brave the, often, busy road, though there is a very safe path into Corfe. As the camping area is up a long driveway road noise about non-existent.

We stayed on a grass pitch with ehu. The camp site facilities are excellent. The farm shop and small garden centre are also excellent.Just a short walk into town where you can also catch a local bus to visit outside of the area. Would we stay again ... yes

We have been before, and still love the place, but it would be nice to see more smiley faces from the staff especially in the shop, plus they could do with being more knowledgeable about things on the site and locally.

A beautiful, well laid out site, clean facilities, and the fishing was great under cover which helped as it was so hot, food truck was convenient, my dog loved the field
