Martleaves Farm Campsite is located between Weymouth and Portland in Dorset on the stunning Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The campsite is open 365 days a year with electric and non electric grass pitches and electric hard standing pitches. NO ADVANCE BOOKING required from 15 October to 15 December and from 4 Jan to 15 March, just come along and pay on arrival, no need to call or message, we have plenty of space.
Over Christmas and New Year, from 15 December until 4 January we're rather busy so it's best to book online.
Please note from 1st January 2023 we will be an Adults Only campsite and will not accept under 18s or large groups of over 4 guests.
We have no farm shop but in the farmhouse porch we sell local honey, various items campers may have forgotten such as tooth brushes, shampoo etc, and when available our own free range goose, duck, chicken and bantam eggs from the garden.
On the farm we have Shetland ponies, horses, alpacas and sheep and a footpath down to the Fleet Estuary which is just 300 metres from the campsite.
The office is normally open from 10am until 7pm. The site is always open and campers arriving late can pay after 10am the following morning. There are always contact numbers on the Reception door if the office is closed.
We ask that dogs are kept on leads on site at all times. They can be off their leads on our footpath down to the sea.
Local shops and bus stops are a 5 minute walk from the farm in Portland Road. Buses run regulrly between Weymouth and Portland.
To access the site please head towards Wyke Regis and Portland, drive along Portland Road and turn right at the traffic lights into Langton Avenue, right again into Marlborough Avenue, then 2nd left into South Road. Please do not use Sat Nav as local roads are very narrow with parking both sides.
NGS. Saturday 3rd June and Sunday 4th June 2023 we are opening our gardens for charity. National Garden Scheme raises money for various charities. Last year we raised over £1,600. Everyone welcome 2-6pm Admission £6.

Nice views of the fleet ,got the corner spot ,shame the council have stopped them using larger field below, great one night stay ,felt like more ,all toilets showers cleaned to high standards will be returning soon, great bus service with a 5minute walk
Basic but great for my needs
It’s the location that sells this campsite, the facilities are average and management is almost nonexistent.
Superb quiet site clean showers etc and lovely views of Chessil and Portland.
Yes strange location when you drive there but you turn the corner and ....... that view hits you if your on electric hook up go to the edge of tge field for the best views but all good.People are all relaxed and friendly, facilities work and are sufficient but could be more if you want to pay more.We could cycle to Weymouth and Portland easily, shops close and lovely walks. If your are looking for a stunning view try it Will
Lovely quiet site with beautiful over Chesil beach and portland the site is clean and tidy and has easy access to local area and public transport. The local pub is a gem
V pleasant stay. Nice that it’s adults only. Decent facilities and close to the beach, although the beach is only nice to walk along and take the dog.
A casual and not too big camping site. The grass pitch we had was overlooking the fields and chesil beach with lovely views. Easy access to the coastal path. When checking in the reception wasn’t obvious, when we did find it, it was closed and no reply on the mobile, however the pitch was easy to find & it didn’t cause us major problems. The showers and toilets were very clean. Handy washing up area, although the lights weren’t working during the evening whilst we were there. Would return as the views were great.
Very good facilities and staff were really friendly.
Great location. Stunning elevated views across a fascinating and unique part of the British coastline. We've already booked to return once our walk is complete.
