Martleaves Farm Campsite has won the coveted Platinum Loo Of the Year Award! The campsite is located between Weymouth and Portland in Dorset on the stunning Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. We are a licensed site with 20 pitches for vans and 20 for tents. The campsite is open 365 days a year with hard standing pitches available during wet weather. Set in 34 acres of glorious countryside, this is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) and a haven for nature lovers and bird watchers. Nestling on the coastline adjacent to the world famous Chesil Beach we are lucky enough to have all the benefits of the rural countryside, the nearby seaside town of Weymouth and Portland.

Stayed for 4 nights in May. Great view of chesil beach and isle of Portland. Well situated for Portland and Weymouth. Washroom facilities very clean. Only criticism was there weren’t enough water taps.
Very nice campsite. We were warned of having to take alternative directions due to size of our motorhome but we still managed to get lost and end up on narrow roads. Good clean showers and toilets. Amazing to be so close to coastal path. Lots of information available to read about local area in the facilities
This was our third break here, and we'll be back next week.. Can't fault it.
My friend and I had a running event nearby and needed a good night sleep - didn't happen. Noisy neighbours awoke us in the early hours. Due to the timing of event we had to leave the camp at 5.30am and did not return until gone 8pm - no staff available to speak to. We abandoned our 2nd night and drove home as a second set of arguing noisy neighbours had appeared that day while we were away. Not sure if we had been put in the 'noisy corner' but it's a fabulous site in a pristine area with fabulous views and would have been very peaceful were it not for the shocking language and noise from neighbours. If I stayed again I would be sure to move pitch if we encountered the kind of neighbours we had on this stay. Hopefully it was just an unfortunate set of circumstances - it's a lovely site. The hand dryer did not work in the ladies bathroom but the loos and sink area were nice and clean and although we didn't stay long enough to use the showers they did look spotless.
Stayed with my wife for a weekend away very relaxing very clean facilities and very helpfull staff going back to meat family there would recommend
We came with our 8 month old baby. Obviously camping with a baby is always going to be a bit of a challenge but things could have been made easier at the campsite facilities. The only changing table was in the women's washroom, meaning my partner was unable to do nappy changes or get her ready for bed (due to the cold weather, changing her indoors was preferable to changing her in our tent, at least first thing in the morning and at night). Additionally, while there was a small windowsill and the worktop around the sinks to put things on, these were often very wet, meaning I couldn't actually put my daughter's clothes on them. Even when they were dry, it wasn't enough spcae for all the kit that comes with getting a baby changed and ready for bed in all the layers you need to put them in to keep warm sleeping in a tent! Things kept falling on the floor, which was a long way from ideal. Some hooks and/or a dedicated shelf above or near the changing table, out of the way of splashing water, would have been very helpful.Other than that - we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!
Campsite was good value for money. Great location and proximity to supermarkets. Showers were great. The camping was also fairly quiet an night The farm animals on site were also a really cute plus.
Found the site at the last minute, but a brilliant find. Facilities very very clean and good. Location quiet and beautiful.
A small number of us first visited the campsite over a year ago, and knew the rest of our hiking friends would love it too. Everyone is so welcoming, the wash block is fresh and clean. It's amazing waking up to the Alpacas and the horses on your door step. The site is perfectly placed, its 5mins from the coast, 10mins to the shops, and yet you feel you are in a remote place with outstanding views of Chesil Beach and Portland.
