Brilliant. Quiet campsite

We stayed over the Easter holidays and had a superb stay. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much to ask. The facilities were kept very clean and were exactly what you'd need from a camping stay with warm showers, plenty of washing up sites with liquid, brushes etc provided and an indoor space for rainy moments. The site was very peaceful and everyone kept to the quite times. The only criticism I could have was the washer and dryers were quite pricey but hopefully you don't need to use these much anyway. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay.

We only stayed for one night in our Campervan. Obviously it’s not peak season and was relatively quiet which suited us anyway. Shower/toilet block was excellent. Very clean and nice hot water. Great washing up stations too. A well stocked shop and friendly staff. Good for dogs too. It’s quite a small site I think and is in the middle of the countryside. There is a pylon very close to the field that ticks but it didn’t both us at all. Overall an excellent campsite

Interesting access to the site from Dorchester Road, a bit narrow with a number of speed bumps to negotiate, but OK if you take it nice and slow.A very friendly awaits your customers with a well stocked shop on site.Great toilet and shower facilities, looked new and very clean. saw 2 'service' points - Elsan / Grey / Drinking water positions on the site. The site is very 'open', could we suggest some bushes / trees be planted to further define the pitches, thats not a criticism, more a suggestion for a small improvement?Great stay for us! :-)

Well laid out site with excellent facilities with just a short drive to some lovely examples of Britains best coastline.

A very well run and immaculately clean site with great facilities. Sadly, there is no pub within reasonable walking distance and if you go for a walk or cycle ride the local roads could be quite dangerous even though a 20 mph speed limit applies with plenty of speed humps on the approach road. However, a few minutes drive into Weymouth and you have got some great beaches lovely for running your dogs. Also Chesil Beach a few miles away and that lovely coastline to appreciate. There are some lovely Cliff walks round the other coastal area at Bowleaze Cove but it looked a little sad with a large derelict hotel and a very "worn out" Harvester Restaurant. If you want a good steak though, the Beefeater Restaurant we used a few minutes away was excellent in terms of service, value and food.Altogether a very pleasant and relaxing stay which was good value even though they couldn't fix the weather for us.!!

Fantastic site with great facilities.

Really great site with excellent shower/toilet facilities. Ideally situated for walking the SW Costal Path, exploring Weymouth etc. we were very impressed with the site and what it had to offer. We just had one issue - we decided to stay an extra night as we were so impressed, but when we returned to the site the electricity was down in the area. Whilst we appreciate this was totally beyond the sites control, communication about the issue was poor, there was no attempt to appologise/make contact the following day to say sorry for the outage etc. Really feel that the ball was dropped in terms of customer service and the situation could have been better handled! We were frustrated as the main reason we stayed an additional night (as opposed to Britstopping) was for the electric!!!!However, this is a top notch site with great facilities, a lovely location and will definitely stay again.

All ok as usual. Had to return early as wind and rain defeated any possibility of going out to see the sea !!!

Great facilities, pods were very comfortable and well equipped

We really enjoyed our family stay at Higher Moor. Great facilities on site and the kids enjoyed the freedom that comes with a small and safe family oriented campsite/park. My only feedback is that the tea towels in the pods don't actually dry things, could do to be replaced with better ones, and provide a little washing up liquid to ensure dishes can be cleaned properly.
