Stayed for 4 nights mid October, very quiet and peaceful. Spotless facilities and a small shop on site.Easy access for the south lakes, the forest of Bowland and Blackpool and the coast.nearest supermarkets are Garstang about 15 mins away.big field to let the dogs run round on. My only gripe is the pitches aren't level so take some ramps and chocks.

Campsite was well looked after and clean and tidy , warden and shop staff were friendly and very helpful. Shop is well stocked and crisps were lovely . Woodland walk and doggy field were excellent . Not many places to walk to as we were limited to not having a car but a motorhome. Plenty of public footpaths available though to avoid main roads. Shower block was clean and always warm , shower was a bit awkward as it required pressing the button every 10 seconds , suppose it saves on cost but pretty annoying . Overall a good place to chill as was very peaceful at night .

Despite very high winds we had a great time at moss wood. The facilities were excellent,showers and toilets spotless and very modern. Very well stocked shop and really friendly staff.

This was our third visit to Mosswood and yet again we had a fantastic time. Met some lovely people and even managed to help a fellow caravanner out. We will definitely visit again as the facilities are 10/10 the people are always welcoming and the dog walks are super!

We had a one night stay during our onward journey. Campsite is very well run clean and neat and tidy, our stay coincided with one of the wettest days of the year so far so really didn't use the facilities to the best but there was good field and woodland walks for our 4 legged partner and the toilet block was clean with ample hot water in the showers. Will return again if exploring this area of Lancashire as sensible distance to both coast and trough of Bowland as well as Preston and Lancaster.

We initially booked 10 nights but only stayed 7 as weather conditions deteriorated ,which was a shame The site was extremely tidy and clean with great facilities ,shower block and small shop but well stocked . Really good fishing on the two ponds situated away from touring area but accessible by short drive or pulling a trolley. Plenty of places to visit generally 15 to 30 min drive 45 mins to Blackpool or the opposite direction Lake District via M6 close by …..

Can't fault this park, staff lovely, well maintained, shower and toilet are immaculate, easy to get to and site secure, definitely be back

Very clean siteStaff were very helpful and informative for things to do in the area Great location. Went to Glasson Docks,Morecambe, Lancaster, the ferry from Knott End to Fleetwood

We really enjoyed our stay, the place had a really nice feel to it. Very clean, very well kept gave the whole site a peaceful feel.Play areas were excellent and love the recreational field. Plenty of benches to sit at. Went fishing with my very young boy. Enjoyed the experience but being honest we didnt catch much at all. The women working on the reception when we came was incredibly helpful and really friendly, we even got to lend a DVD for the evening that the kids loved at no charge. Only slight negative was there is no where for the kids to play directly next to the caravan, our boys are only 2 and 3 and often like to play next to the caravan.Would definitely return and hopefully have more luck with our next fishing trip.
