A tranquil retreat with a range of accommodations and facilities to suit all budgets and preferences, Claylands Caravan Park is rich in family history and rests in the beautiful rural parish of Cabus, Lancashire.
Having proudly owned the park for over 50 years, The Robinson family have invested heavily into the Park’s infrastructure and facilities. Over the years, they have transformed Claylands from a modest family farm into a beautifully landscaped holiday park, offering quality holidays in nature.
Nestled along the banks of the River Wyre, Claylands is enveloped by over 5000 indigenous trees, creating a sanctuary for wildlife and bird enthusiasts. Guests are encouraged to keep an eye out for a variety of creatures, including squirrels, foxes, deer, rabbits, and approximately 85 bird species.
The Park is home to 35 hard standing touring pitches, each thoughtfully designed with its own lawn area, providing an opportunity to extend campers living space. Most of these pitches are fully serviced and include a separate awning area. Additionally, there is a designated tent area where half of the pitches are equipped with electric hook-ups.
Touring facilities at Claylands Caravan Park are modern and well-maintained. A 24-hour shower and toilet block, complete with disabled access and a baby change area, ensures convenience for all visitors. The park also offers free Wi-Fi throughout, enhancing the overall camping experience. For those seeking leisure activities for younger campers, an Adventure Playground provides an additional option for children.
For those who prefer self-catering accommodations, Claylands offers two holiday cottages - Field View and River View. These cottages are designed with a high standard of furnishing, accommodating up to 7 people each. They feature modern decor with character and provide all the necessary services and facilities for a comfortable stay. Small pets are welcome, and private parking is provided.
The park extends its hospitality with ensuite rooms that are located above the Stepping Stones Bar & Restaurant. Accessible via a spiral staircase, these rooms offer comfort and luxury with splendid views of the surrounding countryside.
Speaking of the Stepping Stones Bar & Restaurant, it has been a cherished on-site venue since 1999. This establishment provides a perfect setting to unwind and savour home-cooked meals with refreshing drinks. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the countryside while partaking in quality entertainment, including regular events and bingo nights. The bar also hosts special event weekends, which are immensely popular among visitors.
Catering to the needs of caravan enthusiasts, campers, and those seeking holiday cottages or en suite rooms, the team at Claylands offer a warm and friendly welcome. Combined with the scenic surroundings, a stay at Claylands ensures a memorable and enjoyable stay for all guests.

Had a lovely couple of days in the caravan. Campsite is spotless, along with the showers. Staff go above and beyond with any requests you have.
Great site , lovely helpful staff , will be staying again many thanks
Only problem I had was I brought my 3 year old granddaughter and shower was to hot for her x
All the staff were very approachable and helpful everywhere clean. We found the stepping stones very nice lovely food. Garstang and surrounding areas are beautiful. The men enjoyed the fishing
Glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again
We stayed to visit Scorton Tractor Pull it was a great location footpath Scorton Show field was a really pleasant walk through fields and along the millennium way. We ate in the restaurant on site and the food was homemade and delicious. We even enjoyed a game of Bingo. We’ll definitely stay again.
We welcome you taking the time to review the park and beautiful photo, we look forward to welcoming you back in the future
Lovely clean site, nice staff, amazing pub and restaurant , camping felt very expensive but was a nice area. Wouldn’t go back as the toilets and showers were too far from the camping site and could do with some toilets nearer the camping area.
Thank you for your review, we note your comments and wish you all the best for your future holidays
We have been to claylands on numerous occasions, they are always pleasant and welcoming. Good hook up points for caravans, facilities very clean.Bar and restaurant very good, the only little niggle is possibly the food prices bit high but the food is very good. All in all definitely worth a visit. 😁

Booked last minute and spoke to the lovely staff on reception. We arrived on the Tuesday and stayed until Friday. Beautiful site, with beautiful surroundings. The site was spotless. The gardener was out mowing the grass areas which were pristine. Beautiful river at the bottom of the site with an amazing play area for the kids. 3 large fishing ponds where, with the relevant licence, you can fish. Showers, toilets were spotless. Great restaurant/ pub on site where the conservatory overlooks the river. Prices very good value for money. Pitches themselves are very spacious.Close to the centre of Garstang annd ann easy walk ancross the fields to the beautiful village of Scorton. All in all an amazing stay and we will definitely be back. Loved it. Thanks for a great experience
We welcome your kind review and great photos, we look forward to welcoming you back to the park in the future
We received a very friendly, warm welcome on our arrival at Claylands by the staff and also the ducks. The site is a mixture of lodges, static, season pitches, touring pitches and camping area. That said it is not too big. We arrived from jct 33 and the site was not far down the road. Everything was explained to us when we arrived and we were also handed information on the park and restaurant. The site is in a beautiful setting and has a few ponds for fishing, play park and lovely area near the river for picnic and paddling . The Stepping Stones restaurant and bar is just by the river and is beautifully decorated. There is the conservatory overlooking the river and outside seating area and a friendly bar with excellent entertainment on some Saturdays. We took the small walk over the bridge near the river across 2 small fields into Scorton a lovely little village with The Barn garden centre, restaurant and gift shop. We walked around the village and back on main road. Will be b
Thanks for the review and wonderful photos, not many people knew there was a giraffe in Scorton! We look forward to seeing you again
