The site is beautiful, very well looked after with great toilet and shower facilities which were spotless. All staff we spoke to were very friendly and informative when asking about the local area. Nice woodland walk and massive field which our dogs loved. Looking forward to returning in the future.

This was a very welcome weekend retreat. There is a huge field that the dogs are allowed to run free in (well behaved) and a woodland walk. 🥰 Shop was good, we bought local strawberry milk and wine. Pies looked tasty but we bought from the food van on the Saturday which was great. On the Sunday we went for a 40min walk and came across the farm yard brew. Co a local brewery. We spent a few hours there meeting lots of lovely people. All in all Such a lovely spotless place, lovely people and a very nice atmosphere 🥰 highly recommend

We wanted something a little closer than the usual places we go in the lakes. We’re quite fussy but this place is so well maintained and it’s really peaceful. Facilities were very clean and there’s a great place to fish on site.

We absolutely loved our stay at Moss Wood Caravan Park. The site is immaculately maintained and the toilets and showers are spotlessly clean. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly too. It was lovely just to enjoy the peace and tranquility and listen to all the beautiful bird song. We took our labrador, Daisie, with us and she loved the large, spacious field, where she was allowed off lead. I would highly recommend this site and will definitely be returning!

A lovely, relaxed and well kept site. Vigilant and attentive yet discreet staff. Two beautiful fishing lakes. We appreciated the well maintained grass path all around the lake which meant my wife had great access on her mobility scooter, as indeed she did throughout the site.. Great field with woodland borders for walks or playing ball games with our grandson. Covered seating area (summer months). Two play areas. Well stocked shop. Very quiet and peaceful site yet only 20-30 minutes to Lancaster or Preston. Good shops in nearby Garstang. Ideally the touring pitches could be a little further apart but that didn’t spoil our stay. Really enjoyed and going back again soon.

We recently had 4 nights at moss wood and were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was, we were really impressed how clean and well maintained everything was. We loved how nature focused it is and the effort that was put in to maintain a great environment for local wildlife. Overall a fantastic stay and will definitely be visiting again.
