Been here on holiday stays before nad love the location and accommodation and amenities available.

The pod itself we stayed in was perfect for our needs as we have two bigger dogs we still had plenty of space the only downside to our stay was the lack of internet as where we were situated we couldn’t access it at all and had to either walk to the cafe or stand in the car park even then the access was limited as most phones rely on the internet to make calls and send texts this was not good as we have elderly family members we need to keep In contact with and this was not possible so even though we enjoyed our stay we were apprehensive because of this if something can be done with regards to this then I think it would benefit the campsite even more as for the other facilities they were fine

Stayed whilst backpacking Cleveland Way..A good site strategically located for Cleveland Way and Coast to Coast Walks.Most people will arrive after the cafe has closed (16.00) and want to depart depart in the morning before the cafe. opens (09.00). So longer café opening times would be appreciated

Really nice setting to be in, with excellent views. Only had the breakfast - was nice. Facilities are good.

Lordstones is an excellent Cleveland Way accommodation option, though it would be better, and probably get more business if it allowed a mid week 1 night stay option for people doing either the Cleveland Way or the Coast to Coast walks ?!

Relaxing stay and definitely worth the price paid. Staff were great and we will definitely be returning

Stayed here whilst on C2C. Perfect spot. The facilities are spot on and the pitches well looked after. Also made use of the restaurant which found really welcoming, and the food was spot on.

A lovely setting, beautiful and peaceful, but there was no hot water during our stay so cold showers! The toilet facilities are however very clean and kept maintained to a very high standard.

The onsite shop and cafe are open from 09:00 - 16:00. The shop focuses on selling high quality ingredients (meat etc.) and could usefully stock items for backpackers that are not carrying cooking systems and dehydrated meals. When the shop and cafe close at 16:00 there is nowhere for campers to find shelter, other than the toilets / shower rooms or the washroom. And there are no shops etc. for miles around. Provision of a kettle in, e.g., the washroom, would be very helpful.
