A serene holiday park in the midst of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, Langcliffe Park offers a tranquil escape amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the much-loved National Park. Encompassing 841 square miles, the Yorkshire Dales National Park boasts 1,633 miles of footpaths, abundant flora and fauna, and captivating views of the unique 'Dales' terrain, making it a coveted destination for those seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Unlike many holiday parks, Langcliffe Park distinguishes itself by embracing quietude. Devoid of a bar, restaurant, or entertainment facilities, it serves as a haven for relaxation and a strategic base for planning exciting adventures within the expansive National Park. While it radiates tranquillity, the park is far from isolated, conveniently located just a five-minute drive from the A65 and a pleasant 15-minute stroll from the historic market town of Settle.
Settle itself offers an array of amenities, including cafes, restaurants, shops, fuel stations, and entertainment options, ensuring that visitors have easy access to necessities and diversions.
Langcliffe Park provides over 30 pitches for those eager to explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. The National Park, with its distinctive landscape, offers a myriad of possibilities for exploration, encouraging repeat visits from satisfied patrons. The park is specifically designed to cater to couples and families rather than large groups, emphasizing a peaceful atmosphere conducive to fully enjoying the natural wonders surrounding it.
The park offers two types of pitches: 'Standard electric,' equipped with electric hook-ups, and 'Deluxe,' which includes electric hook-ups along with water and waste points. All pitches feature flat, hard-standing surfaces with space for one car and an awning. Many pitches offer stunning views, and returning visitors often request their preferred spots.
Langcliffe Park provides essential facilities to enhance the camping experience. A short distance away, a shower/toilet block offers disabled facilities and free hot showers. Additional amenities include a washing-up area, a chemical toilet disposal point, a motorhome waste emptying point, a recycling area, and a laundrette.
The park is equipped with WiFi, ensuring online access for those who wish to stay connected. Families with children can take advantage of the outdoor play area, while a dedicated 'ball games' area caters to sports enthusiasts. A dog walking field accommodates furry friends, making Langcliffe Park a welcoming destination for pet owners.
In essence, Langcliffe Park stands as a quiet and idyllic base for embarking on a Yorkshire Dales adventure. Its commitment to serenity, coupled with well-appointed facilities and proximity to Settle, makes it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.

Enjoyed our brief stay at Langcliffe and will certainly return. Nice and friendly greeting on arrival. Also changed our pitch with no fuss . Showers were kept spotless but not as modern as some we have used . Site immaculate , pitches well laid out . Lot of seasonal pitches so very quiet during the week. Would go for the serviced pitch as quite larger and better position. Good views from certain pitches too . Easy flat 10-15 minute walk into Settle . Lots of bars , cafes, shops and a market on Tuesday. Good walks around. We walked up the river to Stainforth and Catrigg Force, looping back into Settle . Good for cycling too . Can keep of the busy roads with a little research. Nice to ride to Clapham on the back lanes . Overall plenty to do.
Lovely quiet site about a 20min walk outside of Settle. There are a lot of mobile homes on the site but this DeLia’s not detract from the lovely location. The shower block was spotless and showers worked well. There are only three showers which was fine as site wasn’t busy not sure how good this would be if site was much busier. Good facilities in Settle; pubs, cafe, green grocer, butchers etc. handy for the train station and the Settoe to Carlisle line. We will be back again
Langcliffe park is set in stunning countryside surroundings. Peaceful & quiet. The facilities toilets/showers very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Campsite set out nicely, spacious pitches. The town, Settle is a short walk away with interesting shops, good selection of cafe & pubs. The train ride from Settle to Carlisle is a beautiful scenic trip. Malham cove is worth a visit too. Loads of nice walks.Would definitely come back & recommend to others
Nice quiet site with good walking paths and short distance to the town of settle, clean toilets, good booking in system for late arrivals, pitches are reasonably flat so blocks are needed for a level pitch,
The site is in a great location for walking, visiting Settle Town Centre on foot and touring the Dales if you want to drive away. It is a lovely quiet site and the pitches are well spaced out and, in the main, level. The facilities were very clean but I suspect at peak times there may be queues as there are only three showers. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great location within walking distance from settleA great selection of shops and takeawaysReally nice Indian restaurant which we visitedAnd plenty of great walks
The site and it's facilities were immaculate. All the staff were very helpful. The location was great with lovely views and easy access to the charming town of Settle. The surrounding countryside offered several walks from the site.
Very nice clean site with heated toilet block, short walk into Settle and magnificent views
We stayed for 2,nights .only met staff on arrival and departure seemed friendly.very quite site mid week our pitch was up on the top with the children's play area at the back of us ,think it would be very noisy during weekend / school holidays ,which wouldn't be suitable for us ..The toilet and shower block was spotlessly clean and very warm , My only complaint was the pitch was not level had to use leveling blocks .we would stay again if in the area midweek.
Lovely spot and a gateway to the Dales national park.Facilities clean and well maintained.Staff welcoming and helpful.
