If it's the idea of waking up to a beautiful coastal view of the North Atlantic Ocean, with Co. Donegal visible on the horizon, then Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the place to stay.
Just across the road from the coastal walks, rock pools, par 3 golf course and pitch and putt, Juniper Hill Holiday Park is located just between Carrick Dhu Holiday Park and the seaside harbour town of Portstewart.
We are well connected by the local bus routes and cycle path making it the perfect base for the many popular north coast restaurants, world class golf courses, ice cream parlours, coffee shops and other local attractions.
Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the ideal place to stay during the weekend of the Annual North West 200 motorcycle race, as you will not even have to leave the park to enjoy the atmosphere of the race, as all the action takes place right in front of the park!
We have 101 touring caravan hard-surfaced fully serviced pitches and modern family shower/laundry facilities with full disabled access.
On site, our junior campers have access to a safe and accessible children’s outdoor play area, as well as a table tennis & Recreation Hall.
Additionally, we provide insightful visitor information onsite to make the most of your time exploring and experiencing all that this stunning part of the country has to offer.
This family friendly site commands an excellent location from which to explore Portstewart with its shops, cafes, restaurants and many tempting ice cream shops. For golf enthusiasts, Ballyreagh Golf Course is within 200 metres, with the main championship courses in Portrush and Portstewart both within 5 kilometres.
Advance booking is essential, particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August.

Great campsite, with great views and the serviced pitches are superb. The toilet and shower facilities would benefit from modernising.
Staff friendly. As far as holiday park I just don’t get them vibes.
Great caravan site and all staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient to Portrush,Portstewart, Coleraine or the train to Londonderry. Good facilities.
This was our first time camping with our new air seconds inflatable van tent. We were greeted at Juniper Hill by Clive who directed us to our tent pitch and then proceeded to help us to erect the tent. We would have been trying to figure it out for ages without Clive’s help! Clive had told us in advance that it was a yellow weather warning but we thought it was just for rain, and are used to rain with camping. We had a lovely evening in the town, dinner and a walk. But unfortunately when we returned it was stormy and our tent collapsed 3 times from the wind and our gear blew down the campsite. So we had to pack up and go home at 4am. We would definitely return though when it is less stormy. The site was lovely and Clive was so kind and helpful. Thank you Clive.
Great site, beautiful views over the sea, very clean and tidy, staff very welcoming
It's a bonus to have a caravan sire in such a beautiful location. Every pich on this site for touring caravans and motor homes has a view. I was very impressed by how the maintenance staff take care of the site. Toilets and showers are kept spotless.Public transport is very accessible as the site is situated on the main bus route between portrush and Portstewart. We will definitely be back!
Lovely views if you pick the right sight, & not too close to the road, so the traffic noise doesn’t become overbearing. It just needs a nice stone clad retaining wall to reflect the road noise & protect the front row from the elements. Very friendly & helpful staff, & good facilities. The access to the touring site is a bit tortuous, but well worth it when you get there.
A reasonable site.I arrived early on my arrival day, to ask about an early check in, prepared to pay if necessary. As I approached the office, a woman came out, and told me quite aggressively “check in is 2pm” come back later. That was me told. However, a lot of people left well after the 12 noon deadline, and 2 even going at 7pm.So in view of this I wouldn’t be recommending this site, a clear case of rules for different people.Very poor for a Council site
