If it's the idea of waking up to a beautiful coastal view of the North Atlantic Ocean, with Co. Donegal visible on the horizon, then Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the place to stay.
Just across the road from the coastal walks, rock pools, par 3 golf course and pitch and putt, Juniper Hill Holiday Park is located just between Carrick Dhu Holiday Park and the seaside harbour town of Portstewart.
We are well connected by the local bus routes and cycle path making it the perfect base for the many popular north coast restaurants, world class golf courses, ice cream parlours, coffee shops and other local attractions.
Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the ideal place to stay during the weekend of the Annual North West 200 motorcycle race, as you will not even have to leave the park to enjoy the atmosphere of the race, as all the action takes place right in front of the park!
We have 101 touring caravan hard-surfaced fully serviced pitches and modern family shower/laundry facilities with full disabled access.
On site, our junior campers have access to a safe and accessible children’s outdoor play area, as well as a table tennis & Recreation Hall.
Additionally, we provide insightful visitor information onsite to make the most of your time exploring and experiencing all that this stunning part of the country has to offer.
This family friendly site commands an excellent location from which to explore Portstewart with its shops, cafes, restaurants and many tempting ice cream shops. For golf enthusiasts, Ballyreagh Golf Course is within 200 metres, with the main championship courses in Portrush and Portstewart both within 5 kilometres.
Advance booking is essential, particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August.

Easy booking and check in, very helpful staff in the reception. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless. Sea views, enjoyed every minute, we extended our stay for another few days. Would highly recommend.
I have been going to Juniper Hill with a caravan for forty years. I think this says it all. Excellent location, great views, water, waste and electricity close at hand. Washrooms cleaned at least 3 times a day. If you find it untidy it is the fault of the site residents, not the staff.
I have stayed a few times. If the park could concrete a few bays very year it would make thinks better as when heavy rains van started to sink .and the camera van next to me. The park is excellent toilets clean and tidy well looked after. A rubbish point at the top would also help as the bins are at the front gate. Great spot as bus service at the gate and a short walk to portstewart or Portrush.
Linda and other gentleman in the office were lovely and very accommodating.. Brilliant setting with great views, the site is clean and tidy and facilities such as the showers are the same. Beautiful coastal walk and picnic tables directly across the road and the wonderful Old Portstewart Golf Club just up the road is magic. Couldn’t recommend this site highly enough 👌
Very good site and staff are friendly and helpful toilets getting a bit old but we’re very clean at all times I will definitely be back
We love juniper hill we are regular visitor to the caravan park usually at pitches up near the toilets we're at the road next time as its North West week which will be a bit noisy with the road but great views which makes up for it
Having stayed at Juniper Hill on a number of occasions (and still have booked a few occasions in advance) while I am generally satisfied with the overall experience I would like to suggest the following : 1. While it is not possible to access a site until after 2 pm on the day of arrival, it would be very beneficial if there was somewhere to leave a caravan earlier in the day until the site is available - on arrival day it is great to spend extra time in the area therefore having somewhere to temporarily park a caravan would be beneficial (also it is often hard to judge travel time and sometimes we have arrived even a short time before 2 pm but had to wait to access the site)2. Similarly on departure - having to be off-site by 12 noon is, again, often a disadvantage and once more it would be beneficial to have a dedicated area to leave caravans to allow more time to be spent in the area.3. It would be great to see a take-away food outlet opened in the vacant building
Busy site, amazing location with good facilities and friendly staff.
