Great camp site, clean and tidy wash/toilet facilities.Good safe camp site in a great location

My friends and I went camping for a couple nights (as one of my friends had never camped before). Everything was very good to access, the facilities were lovely and clean every-time we went. It was definitely worth the money. There’s a lot of near by restaurants and take aways which is brilliant. There’s even a lot of activities and attractions in the area for children and adults. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the parking situation. At the camping bit I didn’t find it easy to get in and out as it was tight and the stones were loose, making my car get stuck but I got it out. I feel like they’d be best using concrete at least instead of stones for the parking. Other than that I have no complaints and would definitely go again.

A gem of a campsite situated between portrush and portstewart. A take away onsite and clean amenities. Boys loved the park and the football pitch. The camp site is within a walled area. Grass tidy and ground great for pegging. Great value for money. A very well looked after site. Parking is limited at the camp area and cars cannot be parked beside the tent so a bit of lifting and carrying. Toilets are clean though a mop bucket and mop would be handy to dry out the showers after use. Lovely staff and a recreational room with games, pool table and tables tennis. A lovely area with beautiful coastal walks. Thank you Carrick Dhu!

Lovely campsite

Love Carrick dhu Caravan Park,Stay here Every Year,Very Well looked after,Site staff are Very Pleasant and keep the Site To Very High Standard,BUT as far as being able to fix your Awning correctly and Securely it's Shambolic,Saw two Awnings almost Destroyed a Few Weeks ago due To not being able to Securely fix Them,the Fixtures on the Pitch are useless, Whoever decided to put them along the Wrong side of the Artificial grass doesn't know Much about CaravaningThe Breeze Blocks Supplied do more Harm than good,have Holes in my Awning along the Bottom due to this,and the The Upgrade to Water Containers,not Enough,first come First served Basis,saw an Awning with what must have Been every container on Site around it,Something should be done to fix this Problem,but other than the above,Great Site..

A good campsite - however disappointing that there’s no small shop on site. Especially two young children and not being able to buy some milk in the morning. But apart from that very clean and good site

The location is brilliant, with easy access to Portrush and the beautiful North Coast, making it a great base for exploring the area.The site is always clean, tidy and well maintained, and the facilities are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we’ve always felt very safe and welcome during our stays.There’s plenty to see and do nearby, from the beaches and coastal walks to all the attractions along the Causeway Coast.For us, Carrick Dhu is an easy 5 stars. The location of this caravan park is a walking distance into the town. The staff on this site are very helpful and friendly. The facilities are very clean and in excellent condition. Would recommend to anyone and is safe for family's with small children.

We enjoyed our stay from start to finish, we had the best time! Our daughter's loved the park and they were on their bikes all the time throughout our stay. The chip shop was fantastic and we ate in it most of the nights.Everyone was so accomodating and we got a great site.We will definitely be back.
