Great site . Very clean and tidy . Staff very friendly.
Lovely site, very spacious but the bathroom facilities are reminiscent of the trainspotting film. The bathrooms are a health hazzard. There is black mould on walls, shower curtains and they are filthy in every way possible. They have not been cleaned properly for years. I made a point of following in the cleaner after they finished. They, for whatever reason, ignored the ground in filth, wiped a dirty mop over the floor, emptied the bins and a two minute wipe round. We don't use onsite facilities as a rule. I strongly suggest somewhere else if you need them. This is a council run site, with council staff and all that goes with it. It actually makes me embarrassed as a citizen from Northern Ireland. .I have no axe to grind. This review does not stem from a row or otherwise. I was sent an email asking for my view and sadly this is it. This could be the best site in NI, genuinely 5 stars, but it's not. On the plus side, this is the best area anywhere in the British Isles.
Ist time caravan owner.Site easy to get to, spacious and well kept. Picked this local site, for handiness and warden helpful in guiding us through what was required. Definitely value for money, lovely cafe serving delicious fresh and eve a good choice of gluten free options which can be very difficult. Very pleased with our stay. Disabled facilities also.
Lovely site beside the river with excellent facilities including a great cafe.
From check in to check out was a pleasure to stay there. Nice and quiet and someone always there to help. Pleasant wee man on at reception. Definitely be back
It's a bit high price. Have to pay for a shower 🚿 hot very hot when you pay for the site you should not have to pay again for a shower.
A good location to stop en route to Donegal from Larne.Very helpful manager .Clean site good location for a walk to Ballymoney ( an hour ) Cafe on site lovely .Showers a little tired and not private.
As stated.
Site is excellent but some pitches are are tight for larger motorhome/ caravans. Bins are a long distance a2ay from most pitches, I can appreciate this was introduced for Covid but see no reason why closer locations previously used for bins are not now in use ? Toilet block was clean and tidy
We loved our stay at Drumaheglis holiday park. Our kids had a fab time and we felt so safe. The amenities were very well maintained and so clean. The area is beautiful, peaceful and a short distance to the beach etc! The wee coffee shop onsite was lovely, staff were so helpful and we visited it a lot! Can't wait to return!
