Drumaheglis is our favourite caravan park. It's close proximity to Ballymoney and the North Coast make it ideal. Its quiet, has a lovely, although short, woodland walk and onside cafe open to the public and caravaners alike. WiFi is not bad but could be better depending on which pitch you stay. Toilets are cleaned well though the shower cubicles tend to be left a bit less so by guests. Good playpark for kids and right on the Bann.
Drumaheglis is great well kept and clean and good toilet and shower blocks
The site warden was very helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean but dated. The site is mainly geared towards caravans, and there was no drive over facilities for campervans / motorhomes to drop their gray waste. The laundry facilities were poor - one drier was out of operation; the cost of drying clothes, on only a medium heat, was expensive.
Site was close to the north coast for the tourist trail, the site and their facilities where excellent, and staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely return in the future
We really enjoyed our stay at Drumaheglis. Site is clean and tidy, facilities well maintained. Good children’s playground and you can use dinghy or paddle board on the river. We stayed 6 nights. Spent one full day at the site when there were lots of other children there at the weekend. The other days we visited sights along the coast, all within 30-40 mins drive. We visited in term time. There are a number of long stay outfits on site, most of which were unoccupied but away from the amenities block. Even when it got busy at the weekend, it had a real family feel and all was quiet after about 10:30. Staff at the marina and the Slipway Café all very friendly. Café serves great cakes & traybakes as well as some hot food.
Lovely location. The pitch we were on was not level and because of the kerb edge we struggled to pitch our awning, we had to put the caravan wheels off the hard standing. The drain at the side of the caravan was very smelly and the grid over it was broken. The toilets and showers were clean but when using the shower the entire floor of the cubicle got wet so there was no dry floor area in which to get dressed. Needed a screen or curtain to prevent the floor from getting wet.
Lovely friendly and clean site. Great cafe with lovely staff. Would highly recommend a stay here.
We stayed over bank holiday weekend, site was easy to access with code we had received prior to our stay. Flat hardstanding site with water and electric hook up. Amenities are clean and lots of hot water for dishwashing. Nice walk in the trees for dog. Would return again.
Very nice stay. Staff were extremely friendly. Would stop again.
Good Location, very clean and tidy, Excellent Cafe & Staff 👌, only small let down was guy on the office was not helpful or accommodating when we were trying to book a taxi.
