Benone Holiday and Leisure Park and its associated Visitor Centre is situated on the A2 Seacoast Road, approximately 11 miles from Coleraine and 12 miles from Limavady. Located adjacent to Benone Strand, uniquely accessible via board walks, Benone offers the visitor an enticing mix of a coastal location with the beautiful backdrop of Binevenagh Mountain.
Benone has received 4* status through the Graded Holiday Parks Scheme and provides family facilities, scenery and a warm welcome to rival any throughout Europe.
"Waves Bistro", sited just off one of the boardwalks, offers excellent food and beverages all day, including their "golfer's fry", home-made scones and ‘cooked to order’ meals. Enjoy dining inside in front of the log burner or outside on the patio.
The Visitor Centre stocks a range of local tourism literature and a variety of Morelli's ice-creams and beach accessories, and all facilities are available for both on-site campers and day-trippers.
On site, we have 80 touring pitches with electric, 33 of which are detailed as "super pitches". In addition to touring pitches, we have 6 glamping lodges
Visitors and holidaymakers have convenient access to the Benone Strand – Northern Ireland’s first recipient of the European Blue Flag Award. Our guests can also make use of a 9 hole par 3 golf course, our local Visitor Information Centre, a putting green and a crazy golf course.
Seasonal facilities at Benone include our tennis courts, activities area, indoor games room and our outdoor heated splash pools (bookable for two-hour sessions during weekends in June and daily during July and August).

We stayed 2 nights here, lovely quiet campsite. Facilities were good, toilets and showers nice and clean with plenty of hot water. Facilities are secure with a key code pad and barrier entry system to campsite, if you want to go in and out with a car or van.Campsite has a lovely position, 5 minutes walk to a very long and clean golden sandy beach. It also has a pretty nature area with a board walk.We would recommend this campsite.
Lovely site with pleasant staff. We visited late June for a one night stopover, pool empty for maintenance and Waves cafe / bar closed from 4pm but these didn’t bother us , whole site needs a little tlc but overall based on the prices we had paid around the whole of Ireland great value. Toilet blocks and showers free and excellent which made a refreshing change, flat level pitches with electric included and only a five minute walk through the woods to the beach. We will be back 😁👍
We had an amazing weekend at this campsite. The site is beautiful and has so much to offer-between football, tennis, crazy golf, playing pool and rambling to the beach my kids didn’t get bored for a minute. The highlight for Mammy and Daddy was definitely lunch at Waves coffee shop and bistro-the food was just delicious! The staff in the coffee shop and also at reception were so nice and friendly making the stay even more enjoyable. We are already looking forward to booking our next stay.
The campsite itself was lovely, with a great location and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the toilet facilities let it down. The toilets were consistently dirty, and there was no soap available in the bathrooms for the entire duration of our stay. With better attention to cleanliness and basic hygiene, this would be a much better experience.
Great location with beach nearby, crazy golf, golf, tennis courts. Toilets have been issue in past but to be fair staff have really worked on keeping clean. Lovely run site if only the pool was working. Definitely in need of internet access as mobile data is non existent.
The caravan park was clean and staff friendly and helpfull Very handy to get to beach weather was lovely for us which was great enjoy my stay will be back again
The pod was basic and did the job. A small fridge would be brilliant though or more of a kitchen area for all campers. The site was lovely and access to the beach was great. The cafe was amazing and all the park staff were friendly and helpful. It was disappointing that the pool wasnt available and the midges were pretty relentless! Over all had the best time with friends and will be back next year.
Only issue is the showers are really hot with no option to turn down
This was our second stay at Benone Tourist Complex in a tent with electric hook up. We love the site and the lovely walks to the beach over the dunes. The camping pitches are well looked after and feel spacious even when the park is quite busy. My recommendations to the site would be for campers - increased toilet cleaning/checks (toilet roll ran out often) and also more provision for the camp kitchen like a fridge/freezer especially in hot weather. For the site generally, there is opportunity to 'up-sell' and make more of the facilities like mini-golf etc but the reception staff were all a bit apathetic, three of them sitting around doing what looked like the bare minimum sadly.
We were lucky with the hot weather which made our stay fantastic. Facilities were good with plenty of hot water and kept quite clean but could do with a few hooks and a shelf in the showers.
