If it's the idea of waking up to a beautiful coastal view of the North Atlantic Ocean, with Co. Donegal visible on the horizon, then Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the place to stay.
Just across the road from the coastal walks, rock pools, par 3 golf course and pitch and putt, Juniper Hill Holiday Park is located just between Carrick Dhu Holiday Park and the seaside harbour town of Portstewart.
We are well connected by the local bus routes and cycle path making it the perfect base for the many popular north coast restaurants, world class golf courses, ice cream parlours, coffee shops and other local attractions.
Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the ideal place to stay during the weekend of the Annual North West 200 motorcycle race, as you will not even have to leave the park to enjoy the atmosphere of the race, as all the action takes place right in front of the park!
We have 101 touring caravan hard-surfaced fully serviced pitches and modern family shower/laundry facilities with full disabled access.
On site, our junior campers have access to a safe and accessible children’s outdoor play area, as well as a table tennis & Recreation Hall.
Additionally, we provide insightful visitor information onsite to make the most of your time exploring and experiencing all that this stunning part of the country has to offer.
This family friendly site commands an excellent location from which to explore Portstewart with its shops, cafes, restaurants and many tempting ice cream shops. For golf enthusiasts, Ballyreagh Golf Course is within 200 metres, with the main championship courses in Portrush and Portstewart both within 5 kilometres.
Advance booking is essential, particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August.

This site is quite simply brilliant. The location, the views & the staff, all staff are courteous and diligent but special mention must go to Linda she can be great craic, remembers your name and always willing to help. Some pitches are quite uneven but this is pointed out in the on line booking process so go prepared with a few blocks. The facilities are clean & well maintained, there is a 20p charge for showers and I think that's the cheapest around. Close by you find Tides restaurant & *The Inn on the Coast (*dog friendly). Views over the sea and Portrush town are excellent.
back a bit from the towns, but nice and clean and quiet, no problem with awnings.
Nice site, toilet blocks always very clean but could do with re vamp. Access to touring sites at top of hill sometimes difficult to manoeuvre around statics if you are on your own and cars parked. I would suggest the straight rd down through statics to be used both ways on arrival and departure to have a traffic lights system to allow touring vans to go up and down this rd. I have experienced that if a car is parked at that corner (rightly so as this is their parking spot, no issues) but it can be tight to get van around. Apart from that, all good.
Clean facilities and great location!
We enjoy staying at Juniper Hill. It is quiet & a well run site. The only downside this time was one incident in the toilet block, when one of the toilet seats came off while I was using it, and on one occasion, one caravan nearby was playing their radio such that others had no choice but to listen to it. I prefer the sound of nature!
Have stayed many times. Great location with superb views. Equidistant between Portrush and Portstewart. Because it is on the north coast it can be windy at times. Toilets seemed to be cleaned about 3 times a day.
Too many mobile chalets and caravan site on unlevel ground. Arrived in the middle of preparations for the NW200 bike race week, unknown to me! Had no wish to stay for the one night booked, unable to cancel and get a refund despite booking it only a few days previously. Dreary and felt so awful we left straightaway and found a much better site some miles away. Not knowing the area wish now I hadn't booked.
Hi JanetJuniper Hill is a very popular and positively reviewed site. Research before booking you would have realised that you were arriving when the area was in preparation for the biggest event on the North Coast calendar, the North West 200 race. This is why there were so many barriers up around the park for health & safety reasons. Despite offering you a choice of pitches there seemed to be none that satisfied you. I’m glad you did find alternative accommodation elsewhere.
Over all satisfied but disappointed that sluice facilities Were not working
Great site facilities very clean staff very friendly and helpful
Site well run with clean favilities and ataff checking site areas, walking through the site to keep an eye on the site areas and ensure everything is in order. Friendly accommodating staff.
