If it's the idea of waking up to a beautiful coastal view of the North Atlantic Ocean, with Co. Donegal visible on the horizon, then Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the place to stay.
Just across the road from the coastal walks, rock pools, par 3 golf course and pitch and putt, Juniper Hill Holiday Park is located just between Carrick Dhu Holiday Park and the seaside harbour town of Portstewart.
We are well connected by the local bus routes and cycle path making it the perfect base for the many popular north coast restaurants, world class golf courses, ice cream parlours, coffee shops and other local attractions.
Juniper Hill Holiday Park is the ideal place to stay during the weekend of the Annual North West 200 motorcycle race, as you will not even have to leave the park to enjoy the atmosphere of the race, as all the action takes place right in front of the park!
We have 101 touring caravan hard-surfaced fully serviced pitches and modern family shower/laundry facilities with full disabled access.
On site, our junior campers have access to a safe and accessible children’s outdoor play area, as well as a table tennis & Recreation Hall.
Additionally, we provide insightful visitor information onsite to make the most of your time exploring and experiencing all that this stunning part of the country has to offer.
This family friendly site commands an excellent location from which to explore Portstewart with its shops, cafes, restaurants and many tempting ice cream shops. For golf enthusiasts, Ballyreagh Golf Course is within 200 metres, with the main championship courses in Portrush and Portstewart both within 5 kilometres.
Advance booking is essential, particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August.

We have stayed at this location a few times and it’s in a fantastic location. The facilities on site are a bit outdated but functional. We had to cancel our booking and did try to rebook however due to circumstances beyond our control we could not find a replacement date where spaces were free. We are very disappointed that we can’t get a refund. We understand this however I would like to think that the council would reconsider their policy that would allow paid for bookings to be carried over to the next season. This is a popular site and the staff are very accommodating
Enjoy our visits, the views are excellent.Showers are too high, but I do have a shower in caravan, so not that big a deal
Great location for exploring north coast & a day trip to Derry/Londonderry. Campsite facilities were excellent, well looked after & plenty of hot water in showers. We have stayed before & will get back.
Staff helpfull location is great with views over Portrush west strand and harbour. Lots off walks and sceanery. Sites well kept with some levelling required. Showers 20p but cool. Facilities well kept and clean.
Great place to stay on the north coast, very centrally located. 5 star.
Even in the wind and rain you can relax here. Turn on the heating, open a book and a bottle of wine and enjoy the rest of the day.
Perfect weekend on a site with wonderful views.Linda the Warden and her staff are second to none. Nothing is a problem to them. Unfortunately the facilities need replacing. The staff do their best to look after them. But there is only so much they can do. It’s time Causeway Coast and Glens spent a bit of money on upgrading the facilities
Very nice to stay toilets spotless and staff was very nice and friendly site very clean recommend to anyone 👍
In general, Juniper Hill is a great place to stay. The facilities are very well kept and the staff are very helpful. The location to both Portrush and Portstewart are perfect.I would however suggest that the signage at the main entrance is updates and made clear. as this was our first time at this site, we were very unsure where to drive, park or enter at the barrier. We followed the only signage, painted on the road, which said 'Caravan', thinking that the barrier would lift and then we would park up and then register at the office. After nothing happened, we had to then reverse and find a parking space in the car park outside the gate. All it would take is a few signs at the entrance, directing residents, and more importantly, first time residents, to park up before the barrier and register, prior to stopping at the barrier. Perhaps a dedicated registration lane at the barrier, might help, although this might get busy in summer periods.
The is excellent site with great facilities Short distance from Portrush and Portstewart Bus service very good .Already booked next weekend.
