Meadowcroft Cottage is a tastefully furnished holiday cottage sleeping up to six people in three comfortable bedrooms. From wine coolers to wood burners and a hot tub with fell views, this place has all the ingredients for a holiday to remember.
Enjoy a wood burning stove in the lounge. In the three bedrooms you’ll find one King size bed, one double and one twin – perfect for larger families. There is also a luxurious family bathroom.

Meadowbank Cottage is semi-detached and located close to the entrance of the park. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard. Being all on the ground floor is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs. The cottage has central heating and comprises:

We have stayed at Hillcroft Park many times in our touring caravan, in lodges and now in Meadowbank Cottage. We received a warm friendly welcome from the staff in the office and our accommodation was ready so we were able to gain access early. The cottage was spotless and the log burner had been lit creating a lovely warm atmosphere to come in to. Accommodation on the park is always spotless with the cottage having everything we could need for a weekend away. The hot tub had magnificent views and was also exceptionally clean. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Thank you Hillcroft for never disappointing us. Always 5☆

Had a great relaxing New Year break at Hillcroft. Lovely site and location. The clear chilly dry weather allowed for nice walks. The Vogue lodge was very comfortable, well fitted out and very clean allowing for a relaxing holiday. There was plenty of space in all rooms and the 2 bathrooms a good size. Reception and site staff all friendly although there was little need to contact them as the lodge provided all that was required. A great site and location worth another visit.

The pitches are all made flat on a sloping site stretching up the hillside up from Pooley Bridge. Hedges form a useful barrier between pitches giving privacy and windshield. A footpath leads off the site to a path that leads up the hill to some interesting walks, including the Cockpit stone circle. Pooley Bridge village is about 10 minutes walk where there are several pubs, cafes and shops, but the walk back to the site when you're weary after a busy day can be hard work getting up the hill! The toilets and showers are excellent and I loved the countryside sounds put out through a speaker. Highly recommended.

As a last minute booking during the Christmas period, our visit was incredibly well handled throughout. Our call to the reception was well received even on the day of arrival, and Pam did everything to ensure we could book our stay that same day. Despite the late booking, on arrival, the lodge was warm, fully made up, and even with a pint of milk in the fridge (a lovely touch!). We arrived in the evening, and the welcome was warm from the site out-of-hours team. We enjoyed a lovely stay in a great location near Pooley Bridge. The ability to ensure crisp winter walks without moving the car was a treat. The holiday home was lovely and well equipped, and despite the cold temperatures outside, we were always lovely and cosy inside. We will certainly be back to the site in future!

Had a great stay; location, toilets, site standard all great. Electric went off a few times but outages didn’t last long and very prompt to sort it. Definitely recommend this place.

The large, six bedroom house was an ideal venue for our family meet up. The house was warm, clean and comfortable, decorated for Christmas. There was enough space for our diverse family of old, young adults, teenagers and children - each having space to do their own thing or meet up and play in the large dining room or living room. The hot tub was also a popular success.The village of Pooley Bridge is very pleasant, with a book shop and pub/restaurant across the road and a lovely surprise restaurant at the rear of the post office - both tried and enjoyed. Ullswater itself was at full capacity due to recent rains and the Aira waterfall spectacular. Some of our party enjoyed the local sauna and wild swimming. This property is well situated for exploring the area. Rheged centre was a good find and well worth a visit. The property management were friendly and responsive although electric car charging facility would be a useful addition.
