If you are looking for the perfect base in the Lake District, then look no further than Park Foot Holiday Park. Set on the banks of Ullswater, in the heart of the Lakes, we have three camping fields, all with electric hook up points, suitable for tents, caravans and motor homes and each have their own modern toilet and shower block.
Striding Edge field is situated close to the shop, new playground and new toilet/shower block. Sandall Field is situated closer to the reception area and TJ’s Restaurant/Bar. Lakeside Field has access to Lake Ullswater, providing stunning, picturesque views for those long, hot summer nights. There are drinking water taps placed conveniently around all the camping fields.
We want our guests to enjoy the experience of camping in Cumbria, so we endeavour to provide a friendly service and impeccable facilities. In doing so we hope our guests will continue to camp in the Lake District year after year, appreciating the beauty of Lake Ullswater, Pooley Bridge and our surrounding area.
Want to be on park, with self-catering, but don’t fancy a tent? Our luxury lodges, log cabins and cottages have complete access to the facilities at Park Foot.
At Park Foot, we have our own beach and launching facilities – free for those staying at the Park. You can also fish on Lake Ullswater for still water trout, perch, pike, char and schelly wild brown trout. The fishing season is from 15th March to 30th September each year - please note a rod license is required.
Please note, we are a family park only and do not accept groups.

Situated above the stream named “Aikbeck”, each lodge accommodates up to six people. Both have central heating and are available to book all year round. Stone Built, with wheelchair access. Situated in the heart of site Foot Holiday Park next to the Shop and tennis court with bar and restaurant opposite. This detached bungalow is ideally located on Park foot holiday park to enjoy all the facilities close at hand being next to the shop, close to the club house and overlooking the tennis/basketball/football court. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard with wheelchair access and wet room which makes the property ideal for those with limited mobility, it comprises:

Lovely site well placed for walking into Pooley Bridge where there are pubs serving delicious food. Site is well kept and toilets and showers are lovely and clean. We stayed in March and the bar etc wasn’t open when we visited. Because it is a very large site I don’t think we would visit in high season as it would not be so peaceful
We enjoyed a lovely week in our tourer. Pitches are large and each one has a picnic table the view from our pitch was beautiful overer looking ullswater lake. The toilets and shower block were 5* spotless., although the shower is push button it was not a problem the only thing some times the water was not very hot. We did not use the club, as it was not open on the night we were going. Take away was very nice and reasonable prices. Lots of beautiful walks from the park and a stroll into pooley bridge. There's a nice play area for children. Overall this site is first class and we can't wait to return. Thank you.

We stayed in Park and Barton lodge. They were a great size and the perfect location. We had everything we needed inside the lodges and enjoyed a fantastic weekend. We even got the snow!
Everything you need, bar, shop selling essentials, friendly staff, wash rooms clean and big. Recommend lake view spots on hard standing ground for tent..loved the views
Situated on the edge of ullswater lake it’s the perfect picturesque spot! very very clean, friendly staff and welcoming.Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing place to stay with great on site facilities
We stayed in the Striding Edge field in an all weather super electric pitch and it was huge. Plea t of space for the caravan, awning and car and a metal fence for the dogs. There was also a picnic table. It was lovely and quiet but there is a kids playground further back which maybe noisier in peak season. The onsite bar/restaurant is very good, the food is good and they have a takeaway too. Limited opening during the week in low season. There is a shop on site but we didn’t use that. The shower block was clean and spacious. We like the easy 10-15 min walk along the lake into nearby Pooley Bridge where there are 3 good Pubs and a few cafes.There are lots of walks around the area and easy access to the Ullswater Steamers.We think it’s good value and have stayed 3 times but only in low season when it’s not very busy, which we like.

We stayed in Redwood Lodge. All aspects of the lodge were first class! It’s finished to a high standard, all fixtures and fittings. So very comfortable. Even the dog is catered for! Dog towels, bowls etc! We had a most enjoyable stay. We have been married 50 years, next week and over the years have camped,in tents. Holidayed in our various tourers and every stay has been a joy! Beautiful park, so well situated! Park Foot was our first ever holiday together as teenagers! We camped in the early 70s! Park Foot holds a very special place in our hearts !
We stayed in Elderbeck lodge which exceeded all of our expectations from start to finish, the house was very clean on arrival and the view upstairs from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay, well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living space. The park has great facilities, including the shop and TJ's bar, it's also a lovely walk away from Pooley Bridge along the lake. Brilliant weekend overall, we will be back again.
