Glamping in Ullswater in the Lake District has never been so good. Our cabins are ideal for family glamping up to 4 people, sleeping 2 adults & 2 children, and some accept pets also. In our larger Cabins there are 2 single beds inside for the children and a double pine bed with a mattress but please note you will need to supply your own sleeping bags and camping equipment. In our smaller Cabins you will need all the essential equipment including your air mattress.

This beautiful cottage is situated in its own secluded hidden place, in a peaceful and angelic rural setting in the village of Watermillock. It is completely surrounded by green fields, with immense views of Lake Ullswater and her spectacular array of fells and landscapes. This is the perfect retreat for any couple to enjoy the pure beauty of the Lakes. Please remember the cottage is in a very rural location, access from the main road is by a gravel track therefore low suspension cars are not recommended.

The Hidden Place is within 10 minutes drive from the quaint but lively tourist village of Pooley Bridge, and only a 20 minute drive from the M6, which makes it an ideal retreat for short breaks or full week holidays whether it be a romantic get -away or active holiday. The location of this hidden treasure will make you want to return time and again.

The cottages sleep up to 4 people and have 2 bedrooms and a fold-up bed in the lounge suitable for a child up to 12 years old.

Some of our cottages also have beautiful views over Ullswater to the fells beyond.

Dining area with extending table and two chairs and the pod has an oak effect laminate floor, underfloor heating and sub-zero insulation pack as standard. Complete with it own shower room.

Our rural setting gives plenty of space (including parking alongside pitches) as well as woodland shelter and screening. We have space for over 150 tents and tourers but it is always advisable to book ahead as we are often fully booked during peak holiday seasons. These are Gravel touring pitches.
