This small but well kept and run campsite accomodates touring caravans on hardstanding or gass well. The facilities are suitable for the size of site and well maintained. Water and electricity is easily accessed. The site is easily accessible for a tourng caravan along the B road. It is also well situated for exploring the Wye Valley and Forest which then enables walking, cycling, water access as well as the various CADW sites. We also went into Chepstow, Bristol, Cardiff, and Monmouth so lots of options.Mobile phone and 4G data singals are weak or frequently absent. We did not try the site free guest wifi, so can't comment.
Beautiful small site . Clean showers with hot water every time , washing up facilities etc . Small shop on site. Would recommend this site .
Enjoyable stay at this campsite. Warm welcome when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble.Toilets and showers warm and clean. Only issue was on BH Monday morning 3 out 4 ladies toilets blocked / not flushing. Once reported it was sorted out. Wifi / phone signal not great but not a problem as nice to be not reliant on the technology. Had to use our old fashioned battery radio. Would recommend this campsite for a perfect getaway in the Forest of Dean.
Lovely little campsite, everyone was lovely, everything was clean and the showers were lovely and hot and powerful! Will definitely be returning :)
A little road noise but not too intrusive. Pleasant spot & a lovely campsite. The facilities are spotless & when we were there, & it was cool at night, they were lovely & warm. The showers are delightful. Really hot. An extra curtain within the cubicle to help protect towel & belongings & keep them dry. Just one small problem which was the toilets .Although they were clean they were blocked the morning we left which lead to an unpleasant smell as the drains overflowed. It's apparently a regular problem according to another guest. Despite the signs asking people not to overuse toilet paper, this is what seems to be the result. Other than that, a great site.
Very good site with good space around each pitch, the shower block was spotless and the welcome was very friendly and welcoming.
This site was very quiet and Leanne was a really nice host T there was loads of space and even when busy I would imagine it feels spacious and the facilities were some of the best we have had with much thought paid to the little details The walks through the woods and fields were a joy In short I can’t wait to come back !! Hopefully this year
Location is easy for touring around. Staff was lovely. Cleanliness was excellent. Value for money was very good. Very good facilities. Excellent choice of eating house near by.
