This site is small but perfectly formed. There is one issue regarding WiFi if you rely on it, there is campsite WiFi available but it is incredibly slow. There are great walks around and we didn't get to take in all the lovely sites because we were a group of different abilities and only stayed one full day.Shower block is lovely and clean and there is a campers kitchen, water taps and waste drains.Leanne was very welcoming and made our stay easy as we were running late for arrival on the Friday evening.
We stayed here for our first weekend in our campervan and were very pleased with the facilities. All very clean. We didn't book EHU but it was available for £5 pn.There is a lovely children's park and forestry walks. One mile also to a local pub that has live entertainment and home cooked food! Will definitely be returning!
We turned up for a three night stay only to discover my booking hadn't gone through (probably my fault as a tech incompetent)!Reception could offer us only one night as the rest of the weekend was fully booked. However, the owner spent a considerable time the next morning walking the campsite to find a vacant pitch and reorganising to place us next to our daughter's caravan. We really were very grateful for the effort he went to and would recommend the site.
Had a wonderful few days at this campsite, reception staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect campsite for listening to birdsong.
Great base camp with footpaths immediately off the site. Clean facilities, small shop and easy access.
A good quiet family site good flat pitches, hard standing and grass well kept and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful, facilities very clean and modern, with facilities for disabled campers, good value for money. The Forest of Dean is a great place to explore with lovely views and places to visit.
This is a lovely site and would go back. The facilities are clean. Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice walking trails. My only niggle was the WiFi wasn’t great. It was very much hit and miss.
We loved the piece & quiet, walks were beautiful as were the staff couldn’t fault anything
We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The site is in a lovely location with some nice walks. St Briavels is about a mile walk across the fields. There are lots of nice locations to visit and many places to go for walks in the Forest of Dean. The facilities were very clean and well maintained.
Fantastic place to chill out pub not far away and staff impeccable can’t do enough for you
