Great site, great location, great staff. All amenities were clean and well maintained. Couldn’t ask for any more.

stayed 3 nights ,Thursday to Saturday mid June, quiet site ideally situated for exploring Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Hot showers, spacious pitches.
Couldn’t really fault any part of it… this site exceeded my expectations 😁
We stayed from Mon - Sat and the site was quiet until the Friday. There is minimal warden coverage although the young lady on duty was very pleasant. Campers are encouraged to clean up after themselves regarding showers, toilets and dish washing and are trusted to abide by the T&Cs. This should be expected, of course, to an extent but the pricing reflects a more hands on approach when compared to other sites so maybe a little day to day facility checking would be good. Maybe it's considered unnecessary during quiet periods. Wifi was slow, inconsistent and collapsed completely when the site got busier. All that said, these are observations rather than complaints as the site is very nice, the facilities are up to date and it's a good location for walkers or even just lazing about. The site is not far from popular Wye Valley walking and Forest of Dean along with their various attractions.
All facilities as advertised clean and well stocked.Great value for money and lots of local walks/sites to see
A lovely quiet and peaceful site with generous plots that are mostly flat and level, ours had a slight slope but we were easily able to level the caravan. Directions were superb and the briefing we had from Leanne was excellent. It wasn't an issue worth reporting but cleaning of the facilities seemed to be a bit lacking as the same soap stain by one of the the sinks was still there when we left 3 days later, it is the only reason I have not given the review 5 stars.
Well kept, lovely location site. Good value. Clean and well maintained. Large play area set aside for children. Not a large busy site, just right! Short walk across fields to St Briavels village with lovely views and good pub!Only negative; could not find a food waste bin and recycling and waste bins need more specific labelling, to distinguish them apart.
Really loved this place. Showers clean. Location perfect and much better than website suggests
We booked for a 2 night stay, but unfortunately we left after 1 night due to heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast the following day. Having wet clothes and a wet long haired dog would be no fun in a motorhome. Also I was experiencing toothache which I needed to sort out. Everything was fine on the site just no time to explore the wider area.
