Excellent site. Helpful staff and fantastic cafe. Can't ask for better

The staff were friendly, good location. The showers in the bottom block could be much better and a little cleaner, good value for money. We will definitely be back, it's our 3rd time there.

My van broke down and was towed away the day before I was due to stay at the site. I phoned immediately to state I could not be there the next day due to unforseen circumstances, and could I please rebook for another date. I was told a definite no, despite the cicstances he said the computer wouldn't let him change it. I was coming up for my wedding anniversary and had booked a table in Lir. So I lost my £34.50, and local businesses lost the trade I would have contributing. I travel all around Europe , and in exceptional circumstances, like for example cancelled vferries have just let me rebook at a convenient time. The council is meant to be attracting people to the area , not turning them away. I did phone council to speak to manager to arrange another date, but was not allowed to speak to him. Shabby stuff from the council. Please rectify this and let me spend some money in your council area.RegardsR Davis

Love this site ..though a large site it has plenty of space and green area's..Nice cafe on site great for a ulster fry..or lunch..Only complaint would be disable toilets are also shared with baby changing and they are open at all times and are used by everyone on site..Also while there is a seat to sit in whilst showering there isn't another one to sit on and dry off. Ladies showers also lack a seat in shower area to sit and dry off..the bench in the main toilet area doesn't work for older ladies.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Stendhal festival. Lovely spot by the river with a nice walkway along the river and around the site. No issues with midges despite being beside the river. The on-site cafe serves a great lunch. Site staff were lovely. It was £1 for an 8 min shower. Facilities were clean and the kids loved the on-site park. We plan to stay longer next time and take in a boat ride on the Bann. Forgot to take pics so I’ve only this one of the sunset on our evening walk.

Everything was excellent, we thought it could do with a little shop for everyday needs.

Stayed some years ago with our caravan and decided to return in our Motorhome. The site is very well maintained and accepts all forms of travel including tents and cruise boats. We will be back and encourage our friends and family to book. The Wardens are very friendly and more than helpful..We will definitely be back!!

It was peaceful and quiet for a couple, although we had some visitors they had to leave early as one of the children stepped in dog poo on the nature walk.

Slightly perturb on the lack of security (dog walkers and non-site people in the park at night.Lack of map, showers should be overhead not angles, otherwise a lovely position and facilities
