We had been considering this park for a number of years, and we got the chance last weekend for a 3-night stay. I must say we were very pleased with the large pitch, the services were convenient, and the electricity was more than ample to run our setup without any trip-outs. The onsite cafe is lovely and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and more than helpful. I only have two gripes. Gripe 1. The WiFi is very poor, and as I tend to work while away, I ended up trying to use my 4g from my phone only to find the O2 signal is also very weak in this area too, so the whole thing got very frustrating. A boost to the WiFi would definitely solve this, and from speaking to other campers on site, I see that it seems to have been a problem there for a while. Gripe 2. The showers are very clean & warm but the cubicles need a few more hooks for your clothes and somewhere at arm level to put your soap and shower gel. But to end on a happy note, we will definetly be back.
Very enjoyable stay. Superb food in the cafe. Looking forward to going back.
Big site with onside cafe and located on the river bann and a short drive to Ballymoney and Coleraine
Excellent facilities and the site is kept spotless and well maintained. I would highly recommend.
Very clean toilet and shower areas
We enjoyed the pod everything was clean on arrival. Good value for money and a short drive to Portstewart and local attractions in the North coast.Unfortunately our electricity totally went out at 8.30pm and there was no one working on site to contact, we rung a number and emailed. We got a phonecall back after eventually finding the trips switch out selves.
Very clean well maintained campsite. Extremely peaceful and the facilities are great. The Slipway cafe boasts home made food, sold at a fair price by exceptionally pleasant staff.Drumaheglis is very central for shopping, a trip to the coast or a lovely drive through country roads, it basically has everything. The campsite although close to a marina is very safe for children, with an enclosed large play park, complete with cork surface. I have stayed many times at Drumaheglis with my young grandchildren and have never been disappointed .
Great pitch, walk for dogs and onsite cafe. The facilities were very clean but could do with updating and there is an extra charge for the showers. Enjoyed our stay for one night and would definitely consider returning some time. Fantastic breakfast at the cafe and very helpful warden.
We stayed there for one night only in a small camper van. Facilities are good. However, the shower is paid. It's 1GBP for 8 minutes so not bad, but you need to make sure you have a change on you.
This place is spotless. Hard pitch water electric and drainage provided. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Lovely walk around the marina. Cafe is very good. Food excellent and staff very polite. Will definitely be back.
