A tranquil retreat with a range of accommodations and facilities to suit all budgets and preferences, Claylands Caravan Park is rich in family history and rests in the beautiful rural parish of Cabus, Lancashire.
Having proudly owned the park for over 50 years, The Robinson family have invested heavily into the Park’s infrastructure and facilities. Over the years, they have transformed Claylands from a modest family farm into a beautifully landscaped holiday park, offering quality holidays in nature.
Nestled along the banks of the River Wyre, Claylands is enveloped by over 5000 indigenous trees, creating a sanctuary for wildlife and bird enthusiasts. Guests are encouraged to keep an eye out for a variety of creatures, including squirrels, foxes, deer, rabbits, and approximately 85 bird species.
The Park is home to 35 hard standing touring pitches, each thoughtfully designed with its own lawn area, providing an opportunity to extend campers living space. Most of these pitches are fully serviced and include a separate awning area. Additionally, there is a designated tent area where half of the pitches are equipped with electric hook-ups.
Touring facilities at Claylands Caravan Park are modern and well-maintained. A 24-hour shower and toilet block, complete with disabled access and a baby change area, ensures convenience for all visitors. The park also offers free Wi-Fi throughout, enhancing the overall camping experience. For those seeking leisure activities for younger campers, an Adventure Playground provides an additional option for children.
For those who prefer self-catering accommodations, Claylands offers two holiday cottages - Field View and River View. These cottages are designed with a high standard of furnishing, accommodating up to 7 people each. They feature modern decor with character and provide all the necessary services and facilities for a comfortable stay. Small pets are welcome, and private parking is provided.
The park extends its hospitality with ensuite rooms that are located above the Stepping Stones Bar & Restaurant. Accessible via a spiral staircase, these rooms offer comfort and luxury with splendid views of the surrounding countryside.
Speaking of the Stepping Stones Bar & Restaurant, it has been a cherished on-site venue since 1999. This establishment provides a perfect setting to unwind and savour home-cooked meals with refreshing drinks. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the countryside while partaking in quality entertainment, including regular events and bingo nights. The bar also hosts special event weekends, which are immensely popular among visitors.
Catering to the needs of caravan enthusiasts, campers, and those seeking holiday cottages or en suite rooms, the team at Claylands offer a warm and friendly welcome. Combined with the scenic surroundings, a stay at Claylands ensures a memorable and enjoyable stay for all guests.

Nice site my first outing with my new tent. Plenty of room to pitch up. The one thing that would improve the stay is a chemical emptying poun on or nearer the camping field.
We spent a really nice weekend in one of the cottages, me & my family were over the moon the pictures don’t do it the justice it deserves! The staff at Claylands were attentive & very pleasant. We’re looking to come back at the end of July we loved it that much.
Booked last minute and couldn’t be more satisfied, it’s a well run clean site with the addition of a great pub and fishing on site
Lovely clean well kept site with nice pub/restaurant on site . Well priced beer& food
Lovely friendly site. Staff and locals made us very welcome in the pub on site.Good amenities. Went when it was really hot so unfortunately the showers were too hot to tolerate. Shame they don't have an adjustable thermostat. Loved the visits by the ducks each day.Food was lovely in the pub. Loved the bingo on Friday night. Gorgeous beer garden and stream. Will definitely come back. Thanks
We welcome your review and look forward to seeing you again on the park
Did find it a long way for the shower block and really surprised to see tent camping at the furthest away possible from the toilets, I don't expect you to drop everything and build me a new toilet block. Just my thoughts
Thanks for your review and comments, we do hope to see you again on the park
Had a lovely week at this park staff were lovely n helpful Facilities are lovely n clean n showers very hot Only downside we found was only 1 toilet block to use no matter where you were on the site Would defo think of going again
Thanks for the review, we look forward to welcoming you back to the park
Great site, lovely pitch and fab food in pub. Welcoming site, good for children and people who fish. Very clean and well maintained throughout. The only thing I would recommend is a more well stocked shop would be appreciated, a pay brew machine maybe a few more essentials would be nice .
Thank you for your great review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and note your comments which have been forwarded to the management team. We look forward to seeing you again
Arrived without a booking as I had a new tent I wanted to try out. The Reception staff and everyone was really friendly and helpful. The pitch with electric was very well looked after and spacious. The Restaurant and pub on site was very good again the staff very friendly. The food was really nice. I only stayed one night but will definitely be back.I can honestly say everything was just great. Thank you.
So glad you enjoyed your mini break with us, we look forward to seeing you again
Lovely caravan park, well laid out , unfortunately spoilt a little by the noise from the motorway and train. We had a very good meal in the restaurant, and it's closeness too Garstang for shopping and restaurant's was brilliant. I thought the fishing in the top pond was great , but because of the otter problem the twin ponds wasn't good , and the bottom pond after fishing for a hour , the grounds people came to station repairs, so that just left the top pond . But overall the visit was very good .
We welcome you taking the time to review the park and do hope you will return to us in the future
