Canada Fields Caravan Park

Canada Fields Caravan Park is located near to Northallerton in the Vale of York set between the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east.

The park has 20 pitches with lovely views over the countryside on a landscaped area beside the family run farm. Pitches are all hard standing with electric hook-up and have water either directly adjacent or very close by. There is also a tent area with some electric tent pitches.

Over the last year there have been many new features to the park including a heated toilet block, dishwashing facilities and free WiFi.

The park was well maintained.The reception was closed the whole time we were there so difficult to identify who actually ran the place.My only other issues were, in my opinion the elsan facility was way out of date and not great at all, also the hose pipe was way too short. The location of the waste bins could be better.Easy for the owner and waste contractor but difficult for us campers away from the main site.Other than the above the site was excellent and I would be happy to go again

Lovely relaxing break at Canada fields. Partner enjoyed the fishing. We did not go of site so can't comment on local facilities. Lovely peaceful site on a farm.

Cycling weekend

Lovely site, friendly management.Perfect for cycling as easy road access, to surrounding areas.Only one slight down side was the shower in female room did not have a good flow, but up side was the shower/ toilet block was lovely and warm.

Nice site but room to improve. Facilities are a little tired and only just sufficient following recent expansion. Toilet in gent was not clean. Shower was unusable due to lack of water pressure apparently a known problem being resolved.

Booked last minute, very accommodating, lovely park and facilities, hot tub was great! Beautiful views on a frosty morning over the fields with the planes playing nearby! Will be returning!

Nice place for a break

We have a permanent 12mth pitch at Canada Fields and find it a very nice, friendly place for a regular break and only 20mls from home, imp. since my wife has Parkinsons.Biggest frustration is the lack of WiFi at our end of the site, hopefully this is being addressed, also lack of nearby CDP and toilets at our end at the moment.Great that each pitch can be permanently connected to water supply.Very friendly site and owners, we feel very much at home and will be even better as improvements are completed.
