Gorgeous area, great location to beach (shame about algae at Benone beach but plenty of other great beaches near by.Wouldn’t describe cabins as ‘glamping’ but were ideal for our needs. Usually in tent so was a step up. Nice to have a kettle and a heater. Would be good if you could use a gazebo or something for shelter for outdoor cooking given the Irish/uk unpredictable weather.Bathroom facilities were cleaned each day but were generally a bit grubby. Washing up area could do with a deep clean. (I’m really not precious…we are used to being outdoors)Young staff at reception could do with some training on customer service rather than a *shrug* and ‘I’m not sure’ response to enquiries about everything from how to use the tumble dryer to the beach conditions.Overall blessed by the location and access to friendly surf instructor..who went out his way to be helpful.

For a short break, it's hard to beat for location. The site WiFi is a big disappointment, though, and could be easily remedied with a few boosters in the motorhome and caravan areas.

We had a lovely stay. The outdoor pool is a rare but very enjoyable addition. The cafe Wave serves lovely food too. It would be great if there was a shop or takeaway at the site.

This is a great site close to the beach. Great chippy nearby and a cafe on site. Also good play area for young children. What let's it down is the cleanliness of the toilets which is poor.

Rules not put into force ie elicteic scooter more than 1 vehicle l per sire and noise at night. Showers very poor hygiene need cleaned more often. The play area too far away frome site

First time staythe location was stunning the facilities were clean and and the Lodge was brilliant will book another one

Good facilities well kept very clean quite at night and with a barrier at the entrance you feel safe

It is a wonderful place that you get out exactly what you put into it, we have camped there previously with our children and enjoyed it, now my husband and I make use of the glamping pods now that we're a bit older. It is great value for money, always clean and the grounds are very well kept, the proximity and ease of access to the beach is a great asset.

We loved every minute of our stay at Benone complex. The weather was amazing and the beach 5 minutes away was perfect. Lovely friendly atmosphere in the park I loved seeing all the very young children on their bikes every day. Truly brilliant wee site and will most definately book again. Can't imagine wanting to go to another caravan park.
