The caravan park was clean and staff friendly and helpfull Very handy to get to beach weather was lovely for us which was great enjoy my stay will be back again

The pod was basic and did the job. A small fridge would be brilliant though or more of a kitchen area for all campers. The site was lovely and access to the beach was great. The cafe was amazing and all the park staff were friendly and helpful. It was disappointing that the pool wasnt available and the midges were pretty relentless! Over all had the best time with friends and will be back next year.

Only issue is the showers are really hot with no option to turn down

This was our second stay at Benone Tourist Complex in a tent with electric hook up. We love the site and the lovely walks to the beach over the dunes. The camping pitches are well looked after and feel spacious even when the park is quite busy. My recommendations to the site would be for campers - increased toilet cleaning/checks (toilet roll ran out often) and also more provision for the camp kitchen like a fridge/freezer especially in hot weather. For the site generally, there is opportunity to 'up-sell' and make more of the facilities like mini-golf etc but the reception staff were all a bit apathetic, three of them sitting around doing what looked like the bare minimum sadly.

We were lucky with the hot weather which made our stay fantastic. Facilities were good with plenty of hot water and kept quite clean but could do with a few hooks and a shelf in the showers.

Great site, could do with getting WiFi and maybe the restaurant could stay open to about 7 to allow for family dinner in the evening

I have been to Benone complex on many occasions and there are many aspects of it I love , the fully serviced pitches , the scenery and location so close to the beach , the wee cafe (which I didn’t use thus time) plus I do like that they have now done away with the need for a key to the toilet block replacing it with a key pad .My only gripe is that the toilet blocks are in dire need of refurbishment and expansion . The one I was using only had one stall operating al weekend and my partner tells me that the ladies was the same , one not flushing and one out of order . For the price of a pitch these days I would be expecting a lot better. I know that there are plans to expand the site into the adjacent rough round , I hope these plans include new and much improved toilet blocks .

Everything is good on site the only problem most people have is a phone signal and internet connection

Amazing place, we were running behind on the way up and got a call from the staff putting ourselves at ease. Great pitch, level and solid, toilets/showers were spotless. We didn’t find the restaurant until it was too late but it looks unreal. Will definitely be trying that the next time. All the other people around us were friendly and we had some lovely chats. We had our two dogs up with us and met plenty of other dog owners who all had friendly dogs, plenty of bum sniffing and tail wags! Location is great, 5 mins walk to the beach through a lovely nature area, nice coffee shop at the beach. Only a 10 min drive to castlerock which has a great pub and a couple of chippies!
