We travelled to stay in Benone for our first time last weekend. It was a great wee spot right next to the beach, a short walk along the boardwalk and your on the beautiful Benone strand. Facilities were good although the showers in the family room were a lot stronger. We booked this site to use the pool as we heard great reports on this however on arrival we found it was closed for maintenance which was disappointing as we didn’t know this before travelling. But apart from that it was a good trip and I would return to this site.

We love Benone. The location the beach waves cafe. But the facilities are just awful. The showers weren't working. The water was too hot for adults never mind kids. The toilets and showers were not cleaned. Very disappointing. Pitches are small with no privacy. It is such a lovely part of the world. I wouldn't mind paying more yo stay there if it was upgraded and staffed adequately.

This is a great site for families as there is plenty for the kids to do with the parks, pool and large green to play football. There is direct access via boardwalk to the beach and my children love to cycle on their bikes to this! It is safe for the children, and many of them cycle around and explore and everyone is considerate of their surroundings. Improvements: there could definitely be some money put towards the toilet and shower block facilities, as well as camper kitchen to provide a complete revamp and freshen everything up! As a busy site I feel this would increase their bookings and give a better customer experience!

The camp site is spotlessly clean and well maintained , and the site is very secure, the staff are helpful and friendly , we have been hear many times and have never been disapointed . a big thank you to the manager and staff.

Site very good and quiet after 10pm but no coffee shop open .Great beach and very good walks

Location is great staff in restaurant very pleasant and attentive not like checking in.

We go to Benone several times in the season we never fail to be impressed with our beautiful surroundings the mountains on one side and the beach on the other. The staff are always friendly and helpful facilities although needing updated are spotlessly clean. We like the park best when it has a few people staying as it’s so peaceful. There is a telephone number you can ring in cases of emergency or you need help which is good. Would recommend this park to anyone.

Fantastic location and 5 minute walk to the beach. Excellent facilities, spotless. Staff lovely. When I asked at reception about hiring out golf clubs she just handed me a leaflet and said all the prices are on there. I was hoping she could have given me verbal advice (as my eyesight not the best) as to how I book, what times they open from etc Other than that they were lovely. Will defs be back.

The site itself is nicely layed out with spacious pitches. We only wanted it as a base for sightseeing so the facilities other than sanitary facilities were not used. The let down were the cleanliness of the toilets which were only superficially cleaned. The costs were above average for what we usually pay and require.

Lovely park, pitty splash pool wasn't opened but we did get a call before hand to tell us this. Toilets shower all clean, nice park and coffee shop good. Will defo visit again.
