Benone Holiday and Leisure Park and its associated Visitor Centre is situated on the A2 Seacoast Road, approximately 11 miles from Coleraine and 12 miles from Limavady. Located adjacent to Benone Strand, uniquely accessible via board walks, Benone offers the visitor an enticing mix of a coastal location with the beautiful backdrop of Binevenagh Mountain.
Benone has received 4* status through the Graded Holiday Parks Scheme and provides family facilities, scenery and a warm welcome to rival any throughout Europe.
"Waves Bistro", sited just off one of the boardwalks, offers excellent food and beverages all day, including their "golfer's fry", home-made scones and ‘cooked to order’ meals. Enjoy dining inside in front of the log burner or outside on the patio.
The Visitor Centre stocks a range of local tourism literature and a variety of Morelli's ice-creams and beach accessories, and all facilities are available for both on-site campers and day-trippers.
On site, we have 80 touring pitches with electric, 33 of which are detailed as "super pitches". In addition to touring pitches, we have 6 glamping lodges
Visitors and holidaymakers have convenient access to the Benone Strand – Northern Ireland’s first recipient of the European Blue Flag Award. Our guests can also make use of a 9 hole par 3 golf course, our local Visitor Information Centre, a putting green and a crazy golf course.
Seasonal facilities at Benone include our tennis courts, activities area, indoor games room and our outdoor heated splash pools (bookable for two-hour sessions during weekends in June and daily during July and August).

One of the best camp sites, clean and tidy, friendly and helpfull staff, lovely restaurant on site, mins from the beach.
Have stayed at the complex before in our touring caravan but this was our first time in a motorhome. We loved our stay, staff friendly, relaxing and very clean.
Great location very clean well kept site toilts could do with updateing but clean bit strange u have to buy a key for toilet block but defentlt a good we spot cupple of min walk from beach staf were very helpfull and frendly
We really enjoyed our stay, clean park with very clean facilities which is amazing. Couple of issues though, people letting their dogs wander off lead & into other peoples awnings wasn't great. Esp as we have 2 dogs ourself who are quite anxious so it had us on edge constantly & someone next to us was playing guitar & singing well after 11pm. Not ideal.
This has got to be our favourite site of all and we have returned many times over the years and will continue to do so. When they installed the security barrier into the actual caravan site I was pleased to see the additional security however the barrier doesn’t have any markings whatsoever as to where you stop to trigger it to open and get into the site so my first few attempts were hit and miss as to whether it opened. Not a problem in the daylight, but on 3 occasions I was out when it was dark and the barrier just simply would not open. It’s not acceptable to me to have paid for my pitch but have to resort to leaving my car in the outer carpark, when there’s no night watchman on. I am also going to contact the park directly with these concerns.
Was expected to place van on mucky waterlogged pitch. Had to make alternative last minute arrangements.
Benone tourist complex is a lovely place to stay but the trees behind sites 49 to 54 are too tall and possibly could be cut as during storm Kathleen I was afraid if them possibly being blown down and they also cause alot of reduced day light as they are too tall
This was our first trip out in the caravan this season. The park was been well tidied up & the shower block have been refreshed. Still an issue with awful internet signal but that’s just mino
We loved our stay at Benone caravan Park. It's always clean, tidy and feels safe. Staff was always friendly and I do believe it's value for money. The beach is so close which means so much as I'm disabled. Shops near by have everything you'll need and there are at least 2 places that sell hot food within 5 mins of the camp site. My only problem was with the barrier which I think was caused by us having 2 sites and 2 car number plates, meant I had to ring a few times to get into the site. Other than that we can't wait to get back in August.
This was our first visit to the Benone site and we were very impressed with the facilities and the amenities available. The staff were helpful and friendly and the site is well maintained. We had lunch at Waves and were delighted with the variety of food available and the quality. We will definitely be back.
