Park Description

Upwood Holiday Park is set in the Heart of Bronte Country just outside the village of Haworth in West Yorkshire. The park caters for touring, camping, glamping and static holiday homes for hire. The park enjoys panoramic views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. There is a bar/restaurant and small shop onsite. For children, there is an indoor soft play area and games room, as well as a modern outdoor playground. The park also has direct access to various moorland paths, ideal for long country walk with beautiful views.

Touring and Camping: There is a range of hard standing and grass pitches with and without electric hook-up.

Glamping and Yurts: The standard Pods offer more security and protection from the elements than staying in a tent. They are well insulated, have lighting and an electric socket. Holiday Caravans: Upwood Park have a range of holiday caravans available to hire for weekly and short breaks.

Cottage: The onsite cottage 'Quarry Bank House' has three bedrooms and is available for weekly stays all year.

Went solo for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, all the staff so friendly and helpful, Great Onsite pub with lovely food (big portions) Great entertainment on Saturday nights they tend to have singers on etc, Showers a bargain at 50p and plenty of time to wash hair and shower (the ladies could do with another hand drier, esp at high season as only 1 in at moment) but this isn't a major problem, they are always spotless and credit to the site. I will be returning again and can't wait!! Thanks again to all the staff for making me feel so welcome as like I say I went solo so it meant a lot. Keep up the great work Upwood 👍

Great break, fabulous surroundings. Very windy on top of the moor, always check wind direction and caravan location. Our awning took a bit of a battering for a few days

Fabulous campsite cannot find fault with anything. Cleanliness was superb and the area breathtaking. If your dog owner a very short walk to moors which our dog loved. Last but not least meal in bar was fantastic too very good value for money and huge portion. Thankyou... Fabulous campsite cannot find fault with anything. "Quarry Bank house"

Mr P Arrowsmith - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

Excellent accommodation with exceptionally located hot tub. Stunning views in all weathers. Completely separate and independent from the holiday park so do not let that put you off making a booking here. Highly recommended.

However, two morning’s running we were rudely awoken (09:00) by a member of staff using a petrol strimmer. This was reported in the bar the first evening and the gentleman said he would refrain from doing so the next morning this early. However, he was not true to his word and continued a second morning only fractionally later (09:25). Other than this, our stay was enjoyable.

To be fair the staff member was in fact true to his word, as on the second day he delayed starting by 30 minutes. We do our best, avoiding weekends and working around weather but unfortunately its a job that has to get done at some-point. Thanks again

The site was clean and well maintained. We stayed in a Yurt which was lovely. It’s in an amazing location and not far from some lovely towns. The shower and washing facilities were always spotless and easy to access. The on site shop was useful and inexpensive. We didn’t try the on site food but it looked good and the menu was extensive. We visited Howarth which was lovely, really sweet village and went on the steam train. Had a walk around the local area and countryside. Also visited Hebden Bridge which was gorgeous. It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted
