We have stayed here a number of times and never had any complaints about the site. It's always clean, the managers are friendly and on hand if you need anything. 1 thing I would suggest for review is whether the site could have a freezer for ice packs? We stayed 4 nights and don't have a fridge, so the option to re-freeze ice packs would be good. I have seen this on other sites. Just a point for thought.

Lovely site, Sarah and Tom were always on hand if needed. Lovely quiet fishing lakes with well stocked tackle shop. Toilets and showers spotless, nice to see plenty of toilets around the lakes. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely return.

"Nice quiet site with level pitches, hard standing but with grass beside to pitch an awning"

A Bland - Stayed with partner, May 2021

Maybe not a good site for children as it caters mainly for coarse anglers and several lakes are adjacent. The anglers are very quiet but don’t appreciate being disturbed either. The access road is full of potholes so drive slowly on entrance and exit.

Lovely site it was February so was damp and cold but the hard standing pitches were good. So good we rebooked again for this year and came in May. Owner got us in same pitch as we had had last time. The toilets are nice and warm and the showers were good from what I remeber form the first time. We are not into fishing but we came here just because we fancied a quiet time. We got that.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Oaks, the fishing was excellent as always and having a well stocked tackle shop on site for bait and accessories was very handy, the onsite cafe gets a thumbs up from myself and my son, lovely bacon & egg sandwich and coffee also staff very friendly, the campsite has very large plots of hard standing with grass and although the shower block was closed until the 17th May through covid we know from previous visits that they are very clean and and well looked after, keep up the good work Oaks we will definitely be back. 🎣🎣🎣👍
