Set in the charming village of Austwick near Settle, Orcaber Farm offers a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting breathtaking views of picturesque countryside. The park’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for exploring the enchanting Yorkshire Dales, with an array of walking and cycling trails at your doorstep and iconic landmarks such as Malham Cove, Ribblehead Viaduct, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks all within easy reach.
One of Orcaber's standout features is its diverse range of camping pitches, catering to various needs and preferences. For those seeking a bit of modern convenience, electric hookups are available, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the charm of the great outdoors. The well-maintained site encompasses modern amenities, including pristine toilets, showers, and a convenient washing-up area.
The campsite has garnered acclaim as a favoured destination for caravan and motorhome enthusiasts. Offering pitches of various sizes, including both grass and hardstanding options, Orcaber Farm accommodates vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
The emphasis on flexibility extends to camping pods, presenting an enticing alternative for those who crave the camping experience with a touch of added comfort. These well-insulated pods, capable of hosting up to four people, provide a cosy haven equipped with lighting and electric sockets—a perfect compromise between the allure of nature and the desire for creature comforts. It's worth noting that the pods do not include beds, so guests are advised to bring their air-beds for a restful night's sleep.
Beyond individual camping setups, Orcaber Farm excels in its provision of comprehensive facilities with the inclusion of electric hookups, well-maintained toilets and showers, and a practical washing-up area contributes to a hassle-free camping experience.
On-site facilities extend beyond the basic necessities, with an excellent shower block, separate facilities for men and women, and the thoughtful provision of hairdryers and electric points, albeit requiring a nominal fee. Clean and well-maintained toilets add to the overall positive impression.
Orcaber Farm goes beyond the traditional camping experience by providing a dedicated dog walk area along the river, creating a welcoming environment for pet owners. The presence of picnic benches scattered around the site invites guests to savour the tranquillity of the surroundings. A short stroll into the village rewards campers with access to a pub, a shop, and a play park, adding to the convenience of the location. For those in need of larger shopping options, the proximity of Settle, just five miles away, provides access to a larger supermarket.
For those seeking information on local attractions and activities, the Tourist Information point on-site is a valuable resource, offering a plethora of leaflets to guide your exploration of the surrounding area.
All our hard standing pitches are super pitches, which are hard standing with your own fresh water tap and grey waste disposal drain.

We stayed on the first field for touring caravans and it was very peaceful and spacious. If we were to return I would definitely wish to stay on that field again. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent location for exploring the Dales.
Absolutely love Orcaber Farm. It's very family friendly and nice and quiet at night. The shop is great if you forget to take anything. If you don't fancy cooking they do pizzas on a Saturday night. The toilets are easily one of the best blocks of toilets I have ever been to. It's reasonable priced which is difficult to find nowadays. There's a lovely walk into the village. We go back every year.
Really well‑kept site with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and excellent, spotless facilities. Great value for money — we stayed in a caravan and had everything we needed. Some people mention the 50p showers, but honestly they’re warm, powerful, and you get plenty of time, so it’s well worth it.The onsite food is a brilliant idea and really convenient, and the shop was well stocked with everything you could need. Staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. We’re already hoping to return. A lovely place all round.
We recently completed a caravan stay at Orcaber Farm Campsite. Overall, it was a well-maintained site, with very clean facilities despite how busy the site was during our visit. The caravan area we were allocated was well-spaced and gave us plenty of room to set up comfortably, with water and waste points. However, the adjacent tent camping fields were very busy during our stay. If you prefer a completely quiet, secluded site, perhaps the high density of tents, etc nearby might feel a bit too crowded for you. That said, the general atmosphere remained friendly and respectful. Despite the large volume of guests on-site, the facilities were kept in immaculate condition.
We love Ocaber Farm. The site caters for all of our needs and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. It is our favourite place to camp and that is why we chose to spend all of our holidays there this year. Nowhere else compares.
Beautiful clean site, amazing facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.Peaceful site with lovely views. We have been before and will return. The cheese shop 5 minutes away is amazing.
Fabulous site. Excellent staff who went out of their way to support me and my son. I would highly recommend this site. Excellent location for walking, fantastic pitches (all very flat), very well maintained grass, lovely views, outstanding facilities, great onsite shop, competitive price. Really enjoyed our week stay and did not want to leave. Will be returning.
We had a great time at the site, it was convenient to get to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly and the site shower's and toilet facilities we're very clean. We can recommend the site and will be returning again.
Pitch's good size, but are NOT separate from camping field.Your car and caravan then becomes a back stop for footballs, Frisbee, tennis balls and kites...The road / track is 30% slate and 70% grey dust. Nobody adheres to the 5mph speed limit, including staff on quad bikes which send plumes of grey dust into the air covering caravan, car and awning....50p for 10 minutes of shower is fine... set the temperature and it maintains it... however water pressure fluctuates between adequate to just above a trickle... showers also double up as kiddies playground, and meeting place..lots of shouting..be prepated to queue for the facilities, as with in excessof 300 guests sharing 5 male and 5 female showers it becomes over used. Lots of clumps of dark black hair left in cubicle.Good coffee, good bacon rolls on Sunday, soft loo paper.Good area for off road cycling and nice villages This site is geared for camper with young families and dogs.. caravaners and tents should be sepetated
My Sister, Ellie the dog and I have had another great stay at the campsite on a electric pitch. The ground was so hard and unfortunately went through quite a few pegs but once tent was up we enjoyed our stay very much and been quite a few times feel very at home . The facilities are outstanding and very clean even when very busy. The dog shower is a very welcome facility keeping your tent nice and clean too.
