"5 star"

The showers were great and clean. The toilets were also clean and plenty of room. There is a plug for your hair dryer or straighteners and a hair dryer already plugged in for you to use in the ladies. It's 50p for a ten minute shower and your own little private changing area per shower which made it easier with the kids. I was able to shower myself and my daughter within the 10 mins. Theres a room next door to the ladies with a sink with hot water to wash pots and pans. Plenty of bins and picnic benches you can move closer to your tent. If you want to camp but still have modern day hygiene facilities then this is the camp site i would recommend. We will definitely be going back. The pitches were spacious and kids had plenty of room to play.

"Camping at Orcaber Farm"

A fantastic and family friendly site. Immaculately maintained and the showers are amazing - better than a hotel! Neil, the owner, is really helpful - I would recommend requesting a fire pit. Beautiful surroundings - well worth a visit.

The site is easily accessible from the main road yet surrounded by countryside. Both long weekends we have visited have been very busy however the facilities are kept spotlessly clean. The owner and his colleagues are always on hand should there be any queries or issues. The toilet and shower facilities are of an excellent standard and although there is a charge of 50p for the showers, it is most definitely worth every penny. It is also environmentally friendly in that people don't just have a shower because they can...........!!! The pitches are large and there is a choice of hard standing or grass. The site is dog friendly and there is a great dog walk which is a circular route around fields of sheep / horses. It was lovely seeing the horses with their foals. It really is a "get away from it all" site. Lots of walks in the area and the villages of Austwick and Clapham are nearby. The Game Cock in Austwick is a must visit but book ahead as it can get very busy. I cannot wait to return to Orcarber and the bonus is that it's open all year round. Enjoy your trip !

We had a fully serviced pitch which was great and the pitches were very generous. You even had a picnic table on the grassed area of our pitch. Some people might complain but the showers were 50p for 10 mins. The showers were hot and a bonus for us and we didn’t mind paying extra. You could also hire and fire pit and buy logs and kindling. All in all a lovely site and it is definitely on my recommended site list for future visits.
