A serene holiday park in the midst of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, Langcliffe Park offers a tranquil escape amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the much-loved National Park. Encompassing 841 square miles, the Yorkshire Dales National Park boasts 1,633 miles of footpaths, abundant flora and fauna, and captivating views of the unique 'Dales' terrain, making it a coveted destination for those seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Unlike many holiday parks, Langcliffe Park distinguishes itself by embracing quietude. Devoid of a bar, restaurant, or entertainment facilities, it serves as a haven for relaxation and a strategic base for planning exciting adventures within the expansive National Park. While it radiates tranquillity, the park is far from isolated, conveniently located just a five-minute drive from the A65 and a pleasant 15-minute stroll from the historic market town of Settle.
Settle itself offers an array of amenities, including cafes, restaurants, shops, fuel stations, and entertainment options, ensuring that visitors have easy access to necessities and diversions.
Langcliffe Park provides over 30 pitches for those eager to explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. The National Park, with its distinctive landscape, offers a myriad of possibilities for exploration, encouraging repeat visits from satisfied patrons. The park is specifically designed to cater to couples and families rather than large groups, emphasizing a peaceful atmosphere conducive to fully enjoying the natural wonders surrounding it.
The park offers two types of pitches: 'Standard electric,' equipped with electric hook-ups, and 'Deluxe,' which includes electric hook-ups along with water and waste points. All pitches feature flat, hard-standing surfaces with space for one car and an awning. Many pitches offer stunning views, and returning visitors often request their preferred spots.
Langcliffe Park provides essential facilities to enhance the camping experience. A short distance away, a shower/toilet block offers disabled facilities and free hot showers. Additional amenities include a washing-up area, a chemical toilet disposal point, a motorhome waste emptying point, a recycling area, and a laundrette.
The park is equipped with WiFi, ensuring online access for those who wish to stay connected. Families with children can take advantage of the outdoor play area, while a dedicated 'ball games' area caters to sports enthusiasts. A dog walking field accommodates furry friends, making Langcliffe Park a welcoming destination for pet owners.
In essence, Langcliffe Park stands as a quiet and idyllic base for embarking on a Yorkshire Dales adventure. Its commitment to serenity, coupled with well-appointed facilities and proximity to Settle, makes it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.

Second time at Langcliffe and will definitely return.. Facilities are warm and clean with plenty of hot water, all the staff we met were friendly, and we love the peaceful scenic location.
Lovely site just 25 mins walk from Settle. You hv choice of longer walks into settle. The showers were amazingly powerful. The site was well maintained even around seasonal pitches. Reception very helpful. Settle has easy access to many other places via train or bus. Many pubs and cafes. It has been 46 years since my last stay and I still loved it .
Can't fault the site, gorgeous views, clean modern toilets and a fabulous dog walking field. Staff in reception are very friendly and helpful. Would love to see a little shop on site selling milk and essentials for those moments you run out. Settle not too far to walk, lots of great pubs/shops. We will return!
Langcliffe Park is in a great location. Nice easy walk in to Settle with lovely shops, pubs and eateries. The toilets/ showers are spotlessly clean and the site is very well maintained. Lots of space between pitches. Showers always had plenty of hot water. Barrier entry for added security. Very friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't find any faults ( except there was a barking dog early morning but that could have been a thoughtless visitor.)
Stayed in Heathers Field as advised by friends , so pleased we did. It was quiet , clean with a dog walk a couple minutes away. Settle is a 15/20 minute walk away with good pubs and places to eat. The surrounding walks and scenery were stunning. Will definitely go back.
As soon as I arrived at Langcliffe Park I knew I was going to have a wonderful stay. Facilities were clean and warm, Elsan point and recycling areas clean and easy to access. Views wonderful and an easy walk into Settle and Giggleswick where there are plenty of places to dine.
Lovely site with beautiful open views of the surrounding countryside. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities, including the toilets, were clean and well maintained. It’s around a 20-minute walk into the centre of Settle, where there are plenty of pubs, cafés and local shops to explore. There are also a couple of supermarkets nearby, making it easy to stock up on anything you need.A great base for exploring the area, and somewhere we’d happily stay again.
We booked our stay online and found the site easy to navigate. We arrived within the ETA we had notified the site of and was met by a very helpful and pleasant member of staff, who gave us an information pack of the site and explained where our pitch was located and, answered our questions about facilities. The pitch was as described, flat with EHU, water, drainage and gravelled. There is no shop and reception is open up until 17.30. Late arrivals are catered for (there is a notice on the reception door). The wash facilities are adequate, with three of each in Female and Male blocks i.e. toilets and showers, which seem too few for a site so big. The shower was powerful and a good temperature, sadly you have to re-push the button roughly every 15 seconds. This site is well off the main road and in a quiet location with plenty of trees. However, in the centre of the site is a private house and they have a dog that barks randomly for long periods and at all times (6.30am!). We were pitch
View from our pitch was superb. Good size pitch, great dog walk. Shower block is good, maybe a gentle refurbishment of the shower cubicles is due soon.A lovely site in a great location, friendly welcome and reasonable price.
I can only reiterate what a lot of other reviews have said about this site. The facilities were clean and well-managed the site was sloping but it's well teraced and motorhomes and campervans would do well to have wedges for leveling. For some pitches it's quite awkward to get an awning to fit so make sure you specify that before you book. The location was beautiful the dog walking field was excellent: the best we've seen. They have nice little touches like ANPR on the gate so that you don't have to get out the car it just recognises you and you drive in. We had a lovely time here except for the weather which was a bit bad but that wasn't their fault and I'm sure we'll have another lovely holiday in this beautiful part of the country.
