"Great for dog owners and walkers"

Spectacular views from the site and an easy stroll into town, also there is massive dog field. Most places in Settle are dog friendly, and you can book a table (with your dogs) at the Talbot, which has good food. Also would highly recommend the food at the Folly Cafe in the museum (also dog friendly).

Everywhere was very clean including the toilets and showers. The pitches were a good size and nice and level. The views around the site were stunning and it was lovely to see all the little rabbits running around. We will hopefully visit again sometime in the future

We were next to the tents that were noisy, teenagers playing football with a heavy ball and every morning had to remove dog dirt from near the car. Reported to staff and they said they would take immediate action. Overall well worth a visit we went to the Malham Sarfari and the Ribblehead viaduct.

The three of us were given a great pitch which was protected on almost 3.5 sides by a low hedge. This gave us great privacy. The three of us were given a great pitch which was protected on almost 3.5 sides by a low hedge. This gave us great privacy. However, the approach to the pitch in the car was quite challenging as it was very steep and just about wide enough for our VW golf. The nearest water point was very close and the toilet block was a bit of a trek across the site but perfectly manageable. The toilet facilities were really clean, the washing up facilities had quite temperamental taps but that was OK.

"Much enjoyed stay."

I have just enjoyed my third stay at Langcliffe. 2008 being my first visit and again in 2016. Each time the facilities have been immaculate and available, haven't had to queue for a shower. Each time the facilities have been immaculate and available, haven't had to queue for a shower. The staff are friendly, local information is readily available in reception and the site is just such an excellent base for the area. Never once worried about leaving belongings vulnerable unattended in our absence (we camped). The dog field is an added bonus. Definitely going to be my bolt hole in the future, for when I need a stress free few days and know that I won't have to worry about facilities/standards being up to scratch. Great job being done and massive well done to all concerned.
