This is a peaceful and lovely place to camp and go fishing, very clean and tidy around the water, would definitely recommend if this is what you like, staff are very friendly, and the fish are big too. Thankyou Eddy

"A week on a muddy site."

B Race - Stayed with family, Aug 2020

When I booked I was told I would have a grass pitch with electrics. I was expecting to be on the main site.on arrival we were placed in the rally field with an extension socket. The site was very wet & muddy, we could not use the awning as the mud was coming up through... When I booked I was told I would have a grass pitch with electrics. I was expecting to be on the main site.on arrival we were placed in the rally field with an extension socket. The site was very wet & muddy, we could not use the awning as the mud was coming up through the ground sheet. The information on line states free WiFi, but you are not told if you are on the rally field you cannot receive it. Which was very disappointing. Trying to get off was a nightmare, but Mark was very accommodating and eventually brought the Manitou tractor to pull us off.

"Could be a great little site"

Mrs F Harper-Green - Stayed with partner, Mar 2020

Lovely location but not really geared for Motorhomes who need driveover drains or easy drainage options (we had to mess around with pipe work to reach the only grey waste disposal point). Only 20 pitches in nice setting with fishing lakes you can walk round.... Lovely location but not really geared for Motorhomes who need driveover drains or easy drainage options (we had to mess around with pipe work to reach the only grey waste disposal point). Only 20 pitches in nice setting with fishing lakes you can walk round. Unfortunately they seem to have given over 99% of pitches to seasonal caravans (probably fishermen). Alot of them looked tired and messy which we felt did a disservice to the site. If they improve moho facilities and move back to touring pitches we think it would be a better place to stay. They should look at Eye Kettleby lakes site for inspiration.
