"Coastal path walkers will love this site"

P Carter - Stayed with partner, Sep 2018

Although a little difficult to find, (but only because my partner used the sat nav!) It was well worth it!👍 Would highly recommend! So, just turn left before the Rugby Club as you leave St David's and it will be easy😊

It had great Facebook reviews so I thought I'd take my touring caravan down to Pembrokeshire. Well, what a find! Just a few miles outside the city of St David's lies one of the most tranquil places ivecever visited. The site managers Will & Jan were very welcoming and keen to point outvtye best of the local places to visit such as Porth Gain and lots of others. I visited outside school holidays so there were no children around but the facilities available to them would keep them off their devices for hours. The site is immaculate and plain to see that Will & Jan take pride in what they do. Top marks to them. If you do need to stay in touch with the outside world the Wi-Fi provided excellent coverage. The acid test ... would I go back. Yes of course and am already looking forward to 2019.

Free showers, and considering the number of people there, no queuing either. Nice size pitch and others camping there very welcoming too.

Our 2 kids 6 and 8 loved the playground, climbing wall and playing field and made friends with others. St David’s was beautiful and a great supermarket shop, also a nice independent butchers in the city where we got amazing lamb kebabs for our bbq. Coastal path walks were beautiful and we enjoyed the town of Solva and also an afternoon on the beach at Broadhaven.

Our tent leaked due to this weather however, it was character building and memory making. We loved that there was a kettle on site and filled up our water bottle nightly! Charging points and fridges were also available. We didnt meet the owners, the office was locked up when we arrived just after 6pm and after leaving a message saying we had arrived, we pitched the tent. It would have been nice to put a face to the running of this campsite. The downside was that there was no shelter for your tent if you were pitched on the non-electric hook up field so you were battered from start to finish. There were only five showers and a family shower room for the whole campsite but these facilities were clean and campers were encouraged to clean up after themselves to make it more hospitable for the next user. If you are expecting a club house or all singing entertainment then there isn't any and is just a camp site... for camping. You had to be quietened down by 10pm (fine by me) although there were people and children who seemed to flout this on occasion. You also had to be very quiet by 11pm (which was also fine by me!) until 7am. By 7.01am there were children playing out and the peace was shattered. A downside of not having areas marked out clearly on the park map, as had I had known that it was the field for playing football and running your dog on, I would have not have chosen to pitch the tent there. A quaint little campsite with owners who had thought of pretty much everything.

Thank you for your review, as it is anonymous we have no idea if we met you or not. As managers we do try to welcome everyone and give campers a welcome pack. We do have specific opening hours for reception as it is necessary to do other tasks on the campsite.... Thank you for your review, as it is anonymous we have no idea if we met you or not. As managers we do try to welcome everyone and give campers a welcome pack. We do have specific opening hours for reception as it is necessary to do other tasks on the campsite. Unfortunately we cannot do anything about the weather, however during recent stormy conditions we have helped many campers out replacing tent poles and relocating to a more sheltered spot.

Lovely campsite, fantastic location with really nice, helpful staff Felt safe and secure with the children as they had a separate field to play in that was enclosed. My only recommendation is to be prepared as the site shop hours and low stock mean you would need to...
