Tregroes caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes with roughly 30 pitches available and communal facilities which include toilets, showers, a washing up area, charging facilities and a chemical disposal point.
Here at Tregroes Touring and Camping Site, we also offer glamping for those who fancy a more luxurious camping experience.
You can enjoy a spacious geodome or cosy Glamping pod. All are fully equipped with everything you will need.
Guests are welcome to light up the barbie after a long days sight seeing, however if you fancy a night off, the on-site restaurant offers great home made food to eat in or takeaway - Tregroes was voted one of the “ best foody” campsites in the UK by The Times.
Dogs are more than welcome here at Tregroes and are sure to love the bountiful walking opportunities that surround the campsite including the 186 mile stretch of the coastal path, where guests are advised to keep their eyes open for the dolphins, seals and seabirds which can be seen along the way. Cycling, hiking, fishing, horse riding and golfing are all available in the nearby areas too as well as a variety of water sports activities including surfing, sailing, kayaking and diving!
If you're a history fan, you've definitely come to the right place! There are an abundance of beautiful historic sites and castles in this part of Wales including the 12th century abbey in the coastal town of St Dogmaels and the Pen-Rhiw burial chambers at Goodwick. The Garn Wen burial chamber in Fishguard, the cathedral at St Davids and the stone circles of the Preseli Hills are also well worth a look!

Needing a short November break not far from home, we decided to try Tregroes caravan glamping and camping park. Unlike most camping parks in that part of the county, access from the A40 is easy (No tiny one lane roads). On arrival in our campervan we found Tregroes has a system that allows for late arrivals, in that when you arrive you find your site instructions, pitch number, wffi, etc, are pinned up in the porch for you to collect and pitch up, a good hassle free system. Wyfi strength is good and free. Toilets, although small, are spotless, and hot water is really hot, so are the showers. Although it works well, the chemical toilet disposal point could do with some work, and the water taps around the park are slow to fill. But overall, we found it a quiet site and a good base for touring, and the walk into Fishguard only takes 20 minutes along very safe paths. Have to say, the weather was good for November and we enjoyed our four night stay.
Our stay was wonderful peaceful family stayed in fishgaurd so we were close to them. The site is clean and staff helpful and friendly we would stay here again it was our 2nd time
Great location for walking into both Fishguard & Goodwick and for accessing the coastal path.We stayed for a couple of nights in mid October & it was very quiet.Lovely toilet block, fabulous showers & level pitches.Restaurant/bar not open most of the time we were there but we did grab a coffee in the bar on arrival at Sunday lunchtime.Would likely stay again if in the area.
Ok för a short stop over but to expensive for the location.
The site is very easy to find and well situated for visiting the coastal path and beaches. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are very good and clean. I was very impressed with the showers, best I’ve experienced. I felt very safe. The only thing that would have improved my stay would have been for there to be ‘ down lighting’ on the site. The area is known to be a dark skies site and as an amateur astronomer was a bit disappointed not to be able to see the nights sky due to the bright lights on site. Apart from that my stay was perfect! Thank you.
I had a lovely week stay at tregroes camping site in my campervan facilities were immaculate and very nice, the onsite restaurant and bar serves great food and drinks at reasonable prices and it is situated within walking of fishguard mostly on cycle tracks with no traffic.
Vary late arrival off the Wexford-Fishguard ferry but not a problem with this campsite, they said my details would be in a letter at reception and it was. We pitched our caravan up where the letter said and had a good sleep. Next morning I availed of the ablutions block which was a bit dated but very clean. Only 3 cubicles, a urinal and some sinks but no shower. I walked out and saw the shower sign at the end of the block. The individual shower cubicles were like something from a 5* hotel! The first cubicle had a normal electric shower unit but the other cubicles had a very impressive shower unit that had a variety of water sprays and nozzles that completely cover you with hot water. The site is worth staying at just for a shower!
This is a greatvplace to stay with excellent facilities in particular a superb restaurant called the Cabin. Simple but quality food in friendly srrounds.
We were looking for somewhere to stay for a day or 2. Unfortunately, we couldn't make the first day we chose after we had booked it. The campsite owners were brilliant and moved it to next day for us, no issues. We did it by email but they were quick to reply and sort it.In fact we liked the place so much, we asked to stay another day, again that was no problem. Now onto the site. It's clean, well kept, the showers and toilets are very clean. Love the designs on the cubicles :-). Its a spacious site but the shower blocks were easy to get to due to the placement. I chose a grass pitch. I always have reservations about grass pitches and rain but they are well drained and although we had some rain, we had no issues with the van. They have a restaurant on site called The Pantry. It was excellent. The food was hot, well cooked and served with a smile. Plenty of it too. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we were made to feel very welcome.Getting there in a large (ish) van was also e
Another great visit, showers have been upgraded, excellent job. Able to park van next to tent without problem. A hassle free site with great food. What more do you want.
