Tregroes caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes with roughly 30 pitches available and communal facilities which include toilets, showers, a washing up area, charging facilities and a chemical disposal point.
Here at Tregroes Touring and Camping Site, we also offer glamping for those who fancy a more luxurious camping experience.
You can enjoy a spacious geodome or cosy Glamping pod. All are fully equipped with everything you will need.
Guests are welcome to light up the barbie after a long days sight seeing, however if you fancy a night off, the on-site restaurant offers great home made food to eat in or takeaway - Tregroes was voted one of the “ best foody” campsites in the UK by The Times.
Dogs are more than welcome here at Tregroes and are sure to love the bountiful walking opportunities that surround the campsite including the 186 mile stretch of the coastal path, where guests are advised to keep their eyes open for the dolphins, seals and seabirds which can be seen along the way. Cycling, hiking, fishing, horse riding and golfing are all available in the nearby areas too as well as a variety of water sports activities including surfing, sailing, kayaking and diving!
If you're a history fan, you've definitely come to the right place! There are an abundance of beautiful historic sites and castles in this part of Wales including the 12th century abbey in the coastal town of St Dogmaels and the Pen-Rhiw burial chambers at Goodwick. The Garn Wen burial chamber in Fishguard, the cathedral at St Davids and the stone circles of the Preseli Hills are also well worth a look!

This is the second time we have stayed and it didn’t disappoint from the friendliness and helpfulness of staff ( a rare quality these days ) the site is impeccably clean great showers clean toilets and a lovely cosy and comfortable accommodation and also dog friendly. The on-site bar and restaurant has lovely atmosphere and good food ( not open everyday) it’s a quiet and relaxing site a great location to get to lovely places and beaches will definitely becoming again
This was our second visit to Tregroes in the school holidays. This year was considerably busier, which highlighted the lack of showers. There are only 4 showers for the whole of the campsite, meaning there were queues in the mornings and evenings for a shower. The campsite is clean but does need some grounds maintenance, ie. bushes cutting back and a piece of barbed wire sticking out of the ground near to the dog walk. Overall it is a nice site near to many attractions.
Excellent site to stay at before our Ireland adventure. Pre book a table for the roast dinner.
We stayed for three nights in our motorhome, from the 19th to the 22nd July. The pitches are generous; fairly level and well looked after. High hedges around and within the site serve as effective windbreaks, and provide cover for many small birds, some of which seemed quite tame. The bar and restaurant are both good, and the staff are exceptionally pleasant and engaging, making you feel welcome and at home. The toilet block is good, although the building is slightly rustic, the facilities are good, clean, and there's plenty hot water. The showers are the most luxurious that I've ever seen at a campsite; that's a welcome feature for those who've been out on a long walk, or perhaps been down on the coast, doing some 'coasteering' or 'kayaking'.It's an easy walk down into Fishguard, with pavement of cycle track almost all of the way, except for the first 100metres on a quiet small road immediately out of the campsite gates.Highly recommended little campsite; we'll definitely return.
This campsite was really nice! Good value for money. Lovely grass pitch - plenty of room for our VW Crafter and the added bonus of a picnic table. Showers and other facilities were great too such as the onsite bar and restaurant. We also did a lovely loop walk from the site to Fishguard and around to Goodwick and back to the site with a stroller no problem - we will definitely return!
This is a small site but don't let that put you off, they offer great facilities and staff that can't do enough to help. Toilet and shower facilities are very clean and recycling area very good and under cover.Pitches are of a good size slightly on a small incline so if you have a caravan/camper you'll need ramps but don't let that put you off, some hardstanding Pitches some have water taps but with no water pressure shame as I would have liked to have hooked up to.Now the best bit, the small restaurant/bar/entertainment area are excellent,10% of you first meal which we used, service outstanding, food outstanding and large portions, Sunday lunch was outstanding make sure you book in advance as it gets busy, thanks to all staff you should have a Michlin star. They offer 10% off your next stay so definitely going to use.We are already looking forwards to our next stay
Pitch great, showers nice, food and bar ideal after a long day driving
Camping à la campagne et au calmeDe beaux emplacements avec table de pique nique, sanitaires très propresUn accueil au bar incroyable et un restaurant fabuleux avec des plats très très copieux et délicieux et une serveuse très gentille.
We stayed in our campervan. It wasn't our first visit. We come regularly. Check in is really simple just pick up your booking details at reception and pitch up..The staff are really friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant one evening it was delicious all our meals were served pipping hot and all fresh ingredients. And fave had Sunday Roast there a few times all homemade fresh ingredients to. It's a short 20 minute walk into Fishguard. Very good value for money.
