Cosy log cabin in great location!

Hyde, Liz - 11/06/2026

We stayed at Timber Hill for two nights with our daughters. We had boat tickets to Skomer Island and hoped to see the puffins. Sadly the boat was cancelled due to bad weather- second time in two years! Nevertheless we managed to get out for a lovely walk along the coastal path. We cooked together in the evenings and just had a great time together. The cabin is like a tardis- looking small from the outside but very well designed to fit everything in. We would recommend staying there.

Feedback, not for publishing

Webb Ekstrand, Sara - 08/06/2026

This is more feedback than a review. The lodge was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating for the three of us. The kitchen could have had a few more utensils. The beds were comfortable but the bunkbeds didn't have a bed light so the only option was the big ceiling light for reading, not ideal. The walls were very thin so you could hear if anyone was turning in bed and my snoring husband could be heard in both the other bedrooms. The bathroom was good but the bit that held the shower up fell apart and had to be fiddled with to get it semi back together. The sink was a slight issue that there was no surface to put anything down. If I was washing my face I couldn't put the facewash down anywhere other than in the sink, and the same with the toothpaste etc. A shelf or a normal square sink would be good with a bit of surface around it. It was raining when we left and there was a leak by the front door which you might want to look at. The area was quiet and the views were really nice.

Lovely clean place.

Loved the initial entrance where the fish pond is, house is lovely, clean and tidy and well furnished. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone and the hot tub was a real treat. Would suggest providing somewhere or something to dry clothes on after a great family day at the beach.

It is a nice, quite and peaceful place to stay for a vacation. All of us enjoy the days we stayed there.

Lam, Cheung Chun - 31/05/2026

Overall, the conditions and cleanliness of the lodge is good. We just would like to share a few minor comments as below:-My friends were probably suffered from flea bites during the stay. Their bedroom is on the left hand side of the entrance. -The bathroom ventilation fan made a little noise to the adjacent bedroom. -The water flow from the bathroom heater is too slow, making it difficult to adjust the temperature.-We spent time trying to figure out how to adjust the living room heater.-We prefer to the room charge includes provided towels.

Lovely premises in beautiful countryside

Venn, Charlotte - 18/05/2026

Four friends stayed in Parkfields each of us occupying a double room. The entire house was spacious, beautifully clean and very well provided for. The owners have produced a superb brochure to help with house things and local information. The location of the complex was perfect and within a short drive of several beautiful places including St Davids, Little Haven, Broad Haven and Tenby. If you book at the right time and it's the right time of the year, you might also get to the island of Skomer to see the puffins. There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants around too.The only minor downside of this property is that the upstairs bathroom (with shower over bath) is shared between three double rooms so when the house is fully occupied, there could be some waiting around for baths or showers. Other than that, this was a fabulous place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed spending our week there.

We loved the peacefulness, waking up to the bird song. Its on the triathlon run route, which is a stunning run along the costal path leading down the the beautiful broad haven beach. Cycling is fabulous. Walks on rolling hills, again some leading down the beach. It's my favorite place to stay. The accomodation so warm and welcoming. The staff 100% customer focus. I love that it environmentally friendly. My grandchildren love the paths through to the rolling hills. The tree with the face and mouth by the stream was so fun. The children feeding it grass!!!!

There are very few places on this earth, that is able to have the same mental, physical and emotional impact on you as soon as you drive into Timber. We have been coming for over 20 years and the impact is has had never changes. Thank you Timberhill.

Every aspect of Timberhill, has the ability to cause you to stop, reflect and relax. The staff can not do enough to help, in every way, to make your visit as special as it always is. The accommodation, its cleanliness, the location and its links to all that is needed, including the surrounding businesses and activities could not be any easier to take advantage of and enjoy.I have been coming to Timer for more than 18 years, with family and friends. This for recreational and for group based training and relaxation, with numbers in excess of 60 and as small as 4 of us. On each and every occasion, we have been blessed with the magic of what Timber is able to provide for you and what John, Matthew and the family at Timber have created, in allowing the natural blend of comfort within the remarkable surroundings and beauty of Timberhill. There are very few places on this earth, that has the nature, the natural beauty, with comforts and access to some of the best that our coast has to offe
