Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.
The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.
David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.
We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.
We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).
We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.
We are open from Easter to October half term.
A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire
We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.

Grass pitches with ehu and water, plenty of space and views over to Ramsey island and beyond.Clean facilities although a short distance over the laneCaterpod selling breakfast, cakes etcBe aware that there is another campsite nearby called Rhossan campsite, we first pulled into here before realising we were at the wrong site and we were not the only ones to do this, maybe the sign could be moved to somewhere more prominent ?Overall lovely site would definitely recommend
Spotless clean just stunning area of Wales 🏴🏴 Fantastic for hiking and fishing.
A stunning location with lovely new facilities
A great campsite that is quiet with lovely views. New shower block/toilets that we always found to be clean. Great views to Ramsey Island. Couldn't get on the wifi but not an issue for us. Would recommend
Lovely place, hope to visit again
Lovely campsite, really peaceful and lovely and clean , it's our 2nd visit and we will be back for a 3rd
There is no better location for accessibility to the various boat trips for a lover of wildlife. We went to Grassholm and Ramsey Island from the nearby slipway, five minutes walk along the road. Ideal for walkers too, we walked along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to White Sands beach, wildlife spotting as we went. We got the bus back, it stopped outside the campsite. The buses run regularly and the fare is reasonable, very handy if you have a camper van without a drive away awning or want to sample the local ale! A visit to St Davids is a must for the food and shopping, the Cathedral is stunning. The site is very well maintained, all the facilities were spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our second visit, we were pleasantly surprised to see that there is now a pod selling hot drinks and pastries in the mornings, a very welcome addition and great value for money.
Location is superb, beautiful views to Ramsey Island. Super clean modern facilities. The new caterpod is a great addition, delicious coffees and pastries. A friendly welcome as always from David, Kate and Henry.
I have been going to this site since I was very young now totalling over 50 years , I’ve see it change from farm site with a field to a site that has a good toilet block and electric hoo up if required. Recent opening of a coffee stall. The site does not offer the pubs and clubs you get on some site but does provide the peace and quiet and superb views over Ramsey saound . Very peace and calming place to be and will definitely be back again
After many years of using the old showers/toilets, the new block is disappointing for my wife. Old showers had 2-3 hooks on door, plus the window sill as a shelf.New shower/toilet cubicles have ONE, (or none!).Nowhere to put soap, shampoo etc, except on floor, not good. More hooks needed for clothes, towel etc. A wire shelf/ basket in a corner needed. Otherwise the camp site is it's usual brilliant self. Owners friendly & helpful, pitches many & varied.Scenery superb. I will always return here!
