Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.
The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.
David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.
We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.
We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).
We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.
We are open from Easter to October half term.
A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire
We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.
Pitches with electric hookups (10 amp). These pitches also include your own drinking water supply.

The site is good for cliff path walking and the inland paths on national trust land. Also good for catching the local minibus to st David’s. Nice big pitches and superb views.
Lovely clean campsite with excellent facilities. Beautiful scenery and a close drive to St David’s and other amazing attractions in the local area. Would definitely recommend staying here and I’m sure we’ll be returning in the future!
We enjoyed a really pleasent one night stay in our tent at Rhosson Ganol. The view was lovely and the pitches well maintained. The facilities were clean, modern and big enough for the number of people staying. We were very grateful for the phone charging and coin operated laundry and a staff member was more than happy to change a note to coins for us on the day. The only slight drawback was the distance from our pitch to the facilities as these were quite a walk across the road. However, we were in the furthest field so a lot of campers would have been closer and this wasn't a big issue for us.
We had a fantastic few days here - very beautiful scenery and fantastic walks right there - and a half hour stroll into St. Davids. Just be aware if the weather if pitching up 💨😁
We like the peace and beauty of Rhosson Ganol campsite. The facilities are good and clean though quite a way from the camping pitches. We love the fact you can forget the car and walk the beautiful coast path in either direction or cycle to St Davids (though the road to St Justinians seems much busier now) and just relax. The pitches are spacious with fabulous views. The owners are friendly and helpful.I did it difficult to choose a particular pitch when I was booking but that may be me.
Excellent campsite, free wifi which works aound the site, only grumble i had was the toilet block was a fair walk from where we were especialy at night as no lighting
This was our first camping trip for many years. As it was bank holiday we found our first choice was fully booked. So then choose Rhosson Ganol. But having visited many in the area on our trip we felt it was the best of all so very serendipitous! The setting was just stunning! The owner sooo helpful and polite. The facilities very good, we loved the coastal bus that took us to St David’s. On our return journey we chose the route that took in the whole route so we could take in the sights. You are able to hop on and off as much as you like. We visited St Justinians life boat which is minutes away. Beautiful! And we loved the option of the onsite morning coffee from capital roasters and a chocolate croissant. Overall we had a brilliant time and will be back! The toilets are a little way away but not too bad and I would have liked them to have been spotless. But again not a big issue.
Great site , wasn’t happy about being told where to pitch up. Never had that before, was put right in the middle of a party of 5 families , which was ok but family pitched literally 3 metres from us, a bit of a walk to the facilities but amazing views and fab coastal walks defo go here again if I can ask for a certain pitch
Warm welcome from the staff on arrival, amazing location with wonderful views, sun rises and sun sets.Short walk from tent to facilities but good condition and clean. Was a shame the hut wasn't open for pizza because of short staff, but a local camp site was open to the public to get pizza.Just a short walk down the road was at David's lifeboat station and a local company for boat trips.
Beautiful views, great facilities, just a bit of a slope for the tent !
