Tudor Caravan Park is a quiet country side park. The park is set in a picturesque location - a short walk away from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal with the views of the Cotswold Hills in the background.
The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. Walkers can enjoy not only the canal but also the Severn Way which runs alongside the park or Cotswold Way 5 miles away. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.
Adults Only area all year round. This is all hard-standings with electric hook-ups suitable for caravans, motorhomes, camper-vans, and RVs.

This is all hard-standings with electric hook-ups suitable for caravans, motorhomes, camper-vans, and RVs. This area is quieter and more secluded as well as being close to the Orchard amenities block (Please Note: There are a few steps up into the building so it is not suitable for disabled access).
The Orchard is shielded by hedges and has a selection of both old & new apple and plum trees - many of which are local heritage varieties.

The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping.
The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.
Pitch selection incurs a £5 additional charge.
Extra-large grass pitches with 16 amp electric hookup. The site is level and has lots of open space on well kept grass.

Excellent site and facilities close to Slimbridge and Tudor Arms restaurant. Perfect stop over. Plan to return for a longer stay
I had a great time. The campsite is right next to the Sharpness canal and only 800 m from Slimbridge wetlands. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The amenities were very clean and well watched over. I will definitely be going back.5***** rating. The photo is of the Andromeda galaxy. I had a couple of hours of clear skies.

We love Slimbridde and the Tudor Arms pub. As to the site the main shower block is in need of major refurbishment.
Thank you for your feedback. We will be looking at painting and sprucing up the main shower block in the new year when we are quieter. We hope you enjoyed your stay regardless.
First visit to tudar caravan park, very welcoming On arrival, well laid out site, clean facilities & set in a lovely area ,we took our motorhome & 2 terriers they loved the nice walks around the canal tow paths, plenty of places to eat with a cafe, & the tudar Arms pub right on the entrance to the park both are dog friendly, we enjoyed some lovely food. Would highly recommend, just an hours drive from home it's just perfect for us.
Warm and Friendly Welcome. Site is nicely laid out with good hard standings and pleasant surroundings. Whilst there we had a lot of heavy rain but the site drained very well. Excellent position for long walks along the Canal and a MUST Visit to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, a short easy walk away, where it all started with Sir Peter Scott in 1946. Unfortunately, it's a shame the Meadow Toilet and Shower Block is a little dated. Having gone to have a shower about 7:45 I found the water running Luke warm to Cold for the time I was in there. Also, having arthritis in my wrist I found it very difficult to continually push in and hold the shower button in order to run the shower. I understand the need to be economical with the showers, however, The Camping and Caravan Club have a similar system but you press the button once and it runs the shower for a minute at a time which is much easier and still saves water. Overall we had a lovely time at this site and surrounding area. Thank You
Thank you for your review and feedback. We are sorry to hear that you had an issue with the showers, our are suppose to run for longer and are set to run at the manufacturers regulate temp. We do always ask to be told if there are any issues at the time so that we can go and run tests and ensure everything is as good as they can be. if you stay with us again and have any difficulties, please do let us know in reception.Once we are in winter and the site is quieter, we will be carrying out any painting and smartening up that's required across the site, this will include all facilities. We hope you enjoyed your stay regardlessKind regards
Lovely, well kept site situated right next to The Sharpness Canal with fabulous walks along the towpath, boat trips and a cafe. Nice pub food in The Tudor Manor which is steps from the site.
Lovely site, brilliant location next to the canal and a very nice pub.
A well managed site about 2.5m from the main road. The access road is a bit narrow in places so take care. The grounds and toilets are well maintained, the site is large and split up into different areas. You can get quite out of the way if you want to.There is a very good pub at the entrance to the site that also serves breakfast and if that isn't enough there is a cafe just over the road as well, you can also hire a bike.Of course you have the Slimbridge nature reserve just a bit further up the road and pleasant walks along the side of the canal where, depending on your ability you can get to and explore Frampton or Saul. Lots of lovely old houses in Frampton, a good pub at one end and a cafe at the other end of the green. Nice walks opposite round some lakes.Atwools in Whitminster sells many spares for caravans and camping accessories as well as clothing, awnings etc. and is well worth a visit, there also have a cafe. The garden centre Highfield is well worth a visit too.
Once again I found everything and all the staff very good. Nice to see all the stars, and of course the wildlife. Graham tarling 👍👍👍
