Tudor Caravan Park is a quiet country side park. The park is set in a picturesque location - a short walk away from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal with the views of the Cotswold Hills in the background.
The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. Walkers can enjoy not only the canal but also the Severn Way which runs alongside the park or Cotswold Way 5 miles away. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.

This area is quieter and more secluded as well as being close to the Orchard amenities block (Please Note: There are a few steps up into the building so it is not suitable for disabled access).
The Orchard is shielded by hedges and has a selection of both old & new apple and plum trees - many of which are local heritage varieties.

The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.
Pitch selection incurs a £5 additional charge.
Extra-large grass pitches with 16 amp electric hookup. The site is level and has lots of open space on well kept grass.

Huge site with big pitches. Lovely location, right by the canal. Shops and eateries nearby. Sadly no off lead dog walking. Not enough toilets and showers. Or bins.
The caravan site is well maintained. Well organised with very pleasant and friendly staff. It is well positioned for access to Slimbridge wildfowl centre and has a good park and ride (via the rail next) nearby for access to Gloucester and Bristol. There are many footpaths outside the campsite to satisfy walkers. The cannel is accessed just outside the campsite and provides foot or bike access into the city of Gloucester and the Purton boat grave yard. The Blackshed directly opposite the enter entrance is worth a visit, especially on a Friday’s Open Mike night - if you want their fish and chips book in advance. The Tudor Arms is again at the entrance to the site and useful to have on the door step, though the food is OKish but limit your expectations.
Lovely site flat pitches. Great location by the canal. Amenities clean and modern a nice pub at the entrance they do a very nice Sunday roast. We have been here many times and always enjoy our stay.
Nice campsite with good pitches. Shower and toilet block were always clean. The 15 second shower button is frustrating but the water is hot.
We enjoyed our stay at the site, it was very clean and the layout was generally well planned. All the pitches were very level and the staff were friendly and professional. As a suggestion some more groceries from the shop would have been welcome; also some better signage for The Orchards would have helped as we initially missed it. On the whole we were very impressed with the site and it was ideally placed for the WWT Slimbridge centre.
the site was nice and clean very quite near the wwt and the canal pub was great aswell
Lovely campsite great location plenty of room clean shower block big .and two great places to eat an drink .recommend a visit
The only aspect I found slightly negative was the need for the toilet block to be updated. They were perfectly clean just tired.
A couple of things to report:1) Apparently the random racket which I thought was rain hammering down on the main toilet block roof is in fact an extract fan in the Ladies which possibly operates on humidity, the bearings must be completely shot, it was the same last year so needs urgent attention / replacement. 2) The main toilet block could probably do with a refresh, it's very heavily used and getting a little tired.3) It's a long walk to the main toilet block from the top of the site (especially at night) maybe a third toilet block nearer the far end if budgets could stretch to this and of course if Council planners will actually allow it!That's three things overall the site itself is very nice and friendly we have been coming for 4 years now and no reason why we will not continue in the future.
Great place to stay, with lovely walks Fabulous having pub practically on site open all day for food Reception has small shop for bacon eggs, milk etc Cafe over the road does good food, best cheese toasties ever .Nice quiet site, clean and well maintained
