I first stayed on this park some 17 years ago, while working at Oldbury power station and enjoyed my stay. I was pleasantly surprised, this time, to see the improvements and expansion that the owners had made.Although it was an overnight stop on our way to Cornwall, I reckon it won't be my only stay.The amenities are excellent and the Tudor Arms, next door, was most welcoming with excellent beer and food.I would recommend both establishments.

This was a good base to see Slimbridge wetland centre, thoroughly enjoyed the day out.Nice clean and friendly campsite and we enjoyed a meal at the Tudor Arms, there was a bit of a wait but the meal was good when it came. 👍

Staying for 4 nights, in the adult only area, on our way south we found the experience overall good. Would anticipate that the number of showers (2) in our block could be a problem if the site was full, however we didn't have to wait, during our stay. We did notice people staying in the other parts of the site used the adults area wc/shower block facilities. The food in the pub adjacent was good and food prices average, we thought drinks were very expensive, it's a shame as if they were reasonable, we may have spent more? Site appears secure and the staff were friendly. Maybe suggest the path from the tarmac road to the shower block be tarmac'ed, as wheeling waste/wc tanks over the stones was difficult when taking the tanks to empty. Walking the canal both ways was great and towpath good, the canal side cafe just off the bridge near the site was well priced for food & drink. Walking to Sharpness marina we found no facilities for refreshments/wc.

I’ve stayed at this campsite many times now, facilities are very good always clean and well maintained.The site is itself is alongside the Gloucester to sharpness canal, in a quiet area with a dark sky, bring a torchThe closest main road is about a mile away.The lane can be busy in the daytime due to access to the Slimbridge Wildfowl Centre, well worth a visit if you are into birds but after 5pm the road is quiet.Also onsite is the Tudor Inn, serving good food all day.Would definitely recommend

We have stayed at this site many times and keep coming back. Pitches are spacious. The site and facilities are always spottless. Tudor pub serves great food. Lovley walks along the canal on your doorstep.

This is my 5th visit to Tudor Caravan Park, it was excellent as always, clean facilities, nice level pitches. The pub next door has nice food (pub grub). Also enjoyed a walk along the canal.One thing that would have been useful is being able to pay by card when buying items in the reception.We will definitely return.
