Tudor Caravan Park is a quiet country side park. The park is set in a picturesque location - a short walk away from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal with the views of the Cotswold Hills in the background.
The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. Walkers can enjoy not only the canal but also the Severn Way which runs alongside the park or Cotswold Way 5 miles away. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.
The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping.
The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.

From booking on line, getting a response to my queries the service was fantastic, we booked a particular pitch so we were close to the amenities, the pitches and the grass were well maintained, grass mowed on empty pitches were mowed daily. Staff were friendly and very professional. We took our dog and although there isn’t a dog walking area on site, just outside site is the canal towpath. Or take one of the public footpaths, there is a few items for sale like eggs, milk ice-cream etc in the reception area, Thank you for providing such a great campsite.
Great site, clean good facilities and well located for canal and Slimbridge
I found Tudor Caravan Park to be a lovely, well-kept site with good facilities. The shower block was very clean, as was the washing-up area.I was greeted by a very welcoming and friendly receptionist who explained everything well. The bird sanctuary was just a short walk away and well worth a visit and there’s easy access to nice tow path walks along the canal. Public transport, however, was very minimal in that area.It was disappointing that free wifi was not included in site fees as, I have found that it is on most sites. It would have been 5* if there was free wifi.
Gab site to sit and chill and pub at entrance to the site also the Black Shed for food, boat trips on the canal and lots more
Lovely clean quiet site. Nice walks along canal and visit to Slimbridge WWT
Lovely location next to canal. Good pub just at entrance and the black shed cafe just across the road. Good walks along canal to Frampton and further if you want. Good size pitches and clean facilities.
We stayed just the one night to break the journey North and chose this site due to my interest in canals and boats. On arrival, we received a lovely welcome, and we were shown the motorhome service point and our pitch, which was nice and flat in the adults' section of the park. Topped up with water, got pitched up and went for a lovely walk down the canal path and called for a meal and a drink at the pub on the way back. A lovely evening, especially as England won in the football!! The following morning, we went for another walk and saw the road bridge over the canal swing to allow a couple of barges through, which was nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, albeit brief, but we will definitely be back. When we stay again, we won't bother with the adults section as it was rather cluttered (smaller pitches with mostly caravans, so lots of cars!)
All facilities excellent and staff were very helpful. We are regular visitors and have always had an excellent time.
Very helpful staff. Excellent amenities. Wetlands Slimbridge bird sanctuary within walking distance. Excellent pub/restaurant at beginning of caravan park. Gloucester city not too far away.
