We have a favourite pitch which was unavailable to us this time and we doubted whether we would be happy in the field but we were very pleasantly surprised when we were allocated T21 close to water and drainage.

"very nice site"

Anonymous - Stayed with partner, Sep 2020

This site seemed very well managed but at the same time not overbearing. not sure if the very large plots are the norm or if that was down to covid distancing. pub at entrance was pleasant and would think very useful in bad/wet weather. quiet site although large, but... The camping facilities are first class, you have a public house pretty we’ll on sight that you couldn’t find any fault with there cooking and service were excellent. But as in life there has to be a down side, and that was no facility for buying every day goods like milk and bread. If you bring your family on sight for say a week then the average fridge will not hold all you require, it would be a very simple task to pop to the local shop buy what you want and that’,s it done and dusted, but the nearest shop is about three miles away at Berkeley. Please give your costumers the facility’s of a shop on sight. Christopher Harvey.

"A pleasant area to explore"

Anonymous - Stayed with partner, Sep 2020

This is very convenient for Slimbridge WWT, but there's also the canal with its tow path to stroll along - or to cycle into Gloucester. It's also got the Tudor Arms at its entrance if you're peckish. A pleasant place to stay.
