The location of Tudor Caravan Park is great for visiting the Wetland Trust and walking along the canal. It is easily accessible from the motorway in both directions. The pitches are a good size and the toilet/shower block is clean.

The modern facilities block was excellent although I did have to use the older block once and wouldn't choose to again. Having the pub and cafe within easy walking distance was great . I t was also a very wet weekend when we stayed and although the grass areas were understandably muddy the hardstanding had excellent drainage so our groundsheet was practically dry

From previous visits to the area we had some idea of the location which was easy to find off the M5 & A38. The site was nicely set out with plenty of room. We were also surprised as to the tidiness and cleanliness considering the terrible weather we have been having for the previous month. The lady in reception was welcoming and friendly and would have quite happy to assist if we had any problems. We have a thing about toilet facilities and we found that the toilet block we used was adequate and always clean and tidy compared with some other campsites we have visited. The only minor complaint would be the entry metal gate and driving a vehicle would require someone to get out each time to open and close the gate a bit of a nuisance if it is raining. Replacing the gate with an. Automatic barrier would be much better. No hesitation in recommending the site

A site that we love returning to time and again. We enjoy the choice of really good walks from the site. Also plenty of places of historical interest within easy reach, both on foot or on public transport. Many places offering good food. It is also a quiet, peaceful site. The staff are always friendly. helpful and courteous. The site itself always well maintained and the facilities clean. On each visit we see that more work is being carried out to improve the site even more. It is always a pleasure to stay here.

"local attractions"

we went mainly for the slimbridge wildfowl centre, which is a bit expensive, but we knew that before we went. there were a few more places we might have gone, but driving in a motorhome, accessibility may well have proved a problem, even in November.
