Stayed for 2 nights for first time with our campervan. Nice scenic spot next to the canal, pub next door did great food, Slimbridge nature reserve just a 10 minute walk away and good site facilities, thoroughly recommend to stay here!

"Ideal if visiting Slimbridge Wetland Centre"

The Tutor Arms is very close and serves excellent meals at a reasonable price. There is also The Black Shed nearby where you can purchase drinks and food as well as some other provisions. There are also other attractions within easy travelling distance so it would make a very good place to stay for a weeks (or more) holiday.

"Excellent camp site located right on the canal with access to varied local walks"

Mrs S Humphries - Stayed with partner, Oct 2019

The only reason I gave 4 stars for the wash facilities was because they were slightly old and the showers very cramped....but that said we were advised that there was a brand new shower block in the next field, it was my own laziness that prevented me from using those (our pitch was just across the track from the shower block in the Orchard field) . I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend both the camp site and the pub next door.

"Mr & Mrs S"

Mr N Simpson - Stayed with partner, Oct 2019

Toilets and shower cubicles missing the 5star treatment mildew in corners of seating areas in shower, but saying that still a nice site. Good visit to Slimbridge and Berkeley Castle

The toilet block was clean & adequate as was the water etc facilities for motorhomes. Would recommend for adults but not really for children. We will definatly return. A pub serving food on the entrance , but The black shed on the canal was more friendlier & would recommend the fish & chips we had for takeaway.
