We had a really pleasant stay at the campsite. We were left to our own devices to set up, there was minimal fuss and it was easy to access the campsites facilities. The site was very clean and tidy.

We were advised to have our first caravan outing somewhere relatively close to where we purchased our van from and picked this site because it was around 45 minutes away. Although the site is situated up quite a steep hill we managed it easily and had a really brilliant stay. The site was very clean and tidy, the washing facilities were beautifully kept and the owners friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have wished for a better site for our first outing. We also had a lovely day in Monmouth, about 6 miles away which is a really nice town. We’ll definitely look to return to this site.

When we booked using Greenacres' website we were given the opportunity to choose our pitch, which we did. When we arrived the chosen pitch had been taken - there were plenty of other pitches, so this wasn't a problem. It should be noted that the pitch numbers on the website do not correlate to the pitch numbers on the site. There are four water taps on the site all of which are close together and great if you are in the top field. If you're not then it's a long way to walk for water. The toilet and shower facilities are brand new but already beginning to show signs that they are not cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. The chemical disposal point is located right at the entrance to the site so it's a very long way to walk to empty the loo. We couldn't find the grey waste disposal point anywhere. Neither the chemical disposal point or the location of the grey water disposal point were pointed out to us when we arrived.
