We think that we may have been spoilt as we found this to be a superb site in a great location. The toileting and shower facilities were first class and spotless and the warmth greeted you when you walked in! There was washing up facilities with hot and cold water and even washing facilities for our dog. There was breakfast available and we had a bacon cob one morning which was crammed with lovely bacon. There was even a takeaway meal option on Fridays and Saturdays. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

"Happy camper"

Only real issue we had was with the showers . Not very powerful and did keep going cold. Also maybe another hair dryer or electric socket in ladies wash room. only one hairdryer could prove problematic when visiting in high season.

Cleanliness, size of pitches, friendliness and the layout of the site, I can not fault. Be warned though there is absolutely no mobile signal on the site. We paid for wifi but it was very hit and miss, sometimes it worked but most the time we could not pick up the signal. It is a great site to get away from the mobile I know, but I have elderly parents (both with dementia) that need me to call them at regular intervals four times a day to talk them through taking their tablets, so it caused a fair bit of stress for me. The pay phone is fine but when a call is on average 20 minutes, the cost soon mounts up and is very frustrating as I have unlimited minutes on my mobile so I can call my parents. I just wish I had known upfront.

"Perfect Pitch"

Mrs L McLaughlin - Stayed with partner, Sep 2019

Very friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Use their directions rather than sat nav. The sociable chickens roaming free were entertaining. The local SSSI and on site breakfast cafe were added bonuses.
