"Camping near Redruth"

We were on holiday visiting family in Redruth, we were able to get a last minute booking here, the pitch was lovely and secluded and very sheltered (we camped during a storm!) The facilities are good, not over subscribed and clean. Its very important to have access to a good shower when camping and these are good hot showers kept clean and easy to used with hooks on the walls etc. I would return to this camp site.

Unfortunately we were next to a busy road and I was surprised by the volume of traffic oven such idyllic surroundings. I made the booking separately to my friends which meant my pitch was some distance from theirs; this made my stay quite difficult as I was camping on my own with a toddler and although was assured the area was safe, I personally didn’t feel 100% comfortable leaving my toddler asleep in the tent ... I am used to camping where you can choose your pitch so would be conscious of this next time. Although the owners are helpful and the facilities and site are all beautifully maintained, I personally prefer more open space and campfires etc so just not for me; but certainly to be recommended for people looking for this type of site. It is beautifully tended and easy access to lovely coast and Corning towns. Make sure you specify a pitch away from the road!

"Tehidy Holiday Park is worth a visit"

The site is quiet and ideal for families with a centrally located children's play area which closes at 9 pm. The hedging and plants around the site give it a peaceful and private feel. The owner is friendly & welcoming and provides useful information of the area. We stayed in a three bedroom caravan which was clean, comfortable and well presented. The location of the site is ideal as it is not far from the A30 and supermarkets and good for local beaches - this week we visited Porthtowan, Portreath, Chapel Porth, St Agnes, Holywell, Godrevy and Longrock as well as St Michael's Mount. I would definitely recommend this site.

"Wonderfully clean loos!"

Anonymous - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

It was such a great last campsite for our trip because it ticked all the boxes, privacy, clean and with wonderful facilities. Lovely size and helpful staff. Thank you! Only downside was a sloping pitch for our van...but we managed to alter the level.

"Pitch size"

Miss J Burnham - Stayed with family, Jul 2019

The only thing that would put me off coming again is the pitch size. We booked an extra large pitch but it wasn't big enough for tent and car and we were on top of tents opposite so felt that we had no privacy.

"Week stay at Tehidy"

Miss R Christie - Stayed with friends, Jul 2019

Perfect location for the area and each pitch is sectioned by hedges which allows for privacy. Staff member was very friendly and offered great advice on what to do in the surroundings, all of which we ended up doing and thoroughly enjoyed! Would definitely recommend to... "A fun filled week away"

Miss V Langford - Stayed with partner, Jul 2019

A beautiful little site tucked away yet central to everything that you could possibly need - the site is easily located close to the near beaches, shop, county pub (although the barman at the local Dickie's wasn't particularly welcoming). Nothing is too much trouble... A beautiful little site tucked away yet central to everything that you could possibly need - the site is easily located close to the near beaches, shop, county pub (although the barman at the local Dickie's wasn't particularly welcoming). Nothing is too much trouble and Richard the host is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The only negative comment I would have to mention is the age of the caravan we were staying in - although it was spotlessly clean the bed I'm afraid was so uncomfortable to the point where my partner had to make up the make shift bed in the living room and I was sleeping on the cramped sofa - I really feel that the caravan needs to be refurbished - the shower also was very tempermental - you could never have a hot shower - again I feel that this was due to the age of the shower/boiler - it was a real shame as this was the only down side of the holiday and although we enjoyed ourselves I did feel let down by the caravan itself.

"Lovely, quiet, but family friendly site"

Lovely family friendly site which appears to cater for a wide variety of accommodation requirements. Lovely family friendly site which appears to cater for a wide variety of accommodation requirements. Friendly staff who request that all visitors respect each other and the environment in which they are staying. Located in an area which offers peace and tranquility, whilst not too far away from local attractions and the main networks which offer easy access to the rest of Cornwall.
