The site is perfectly situated to explore all that Cornwall has to offer.The site and facilities are excellent.The owners are lovely people too.

We were late bookers for immediate camping owing to false information from another site and Andrew saved the day for us. This was the best move we could have made the site is immaculate the facilities so clean (showers a bit cool if you don't go early).there's a wetsuit wash, laundry and the toilet disposal was (hubby's words) the best he's ever seen. Ziggy loved the dog run there is also a field for dogs which we didn't use. The pitches are incredibly well maintained electric, water and waste on our pitch. Good little shop for essentials and gas refills - even helped me by carrying to the motorhome and taking away the empty bottle. Lots of information and assistance . A free games room too with table tennis and pool. We cannot rate this site or the staff any higher we loved it and of we are ever on porthtowan again we will be straight back

Super site, smallish family run campsite.From the moment you arrive, you can see this is a much loved site. Gardens areas and pitches are kept immaculate by the hard working Family. Toilet and shower Facilities are always spotless. There is a games room with table tennis and free pool table.It’s about 25 minute walk to Porthtowan beach down a fairly steep hill and about 20 minutes to the coastal path. Would definitely recommend, ideally you need a car to explore the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the park, the facilities were fantastic and very clean and the park was lovely and peaceful.Our dog also really enjoyed the dog walk and the freedom to run around the field that was used as a trial.We will definitely return again and stay longer to enjoy the area more and try more walks in the area.

It was our first time at porthtowan tourist park , This site was recommended to us by our friends .So nice to get up in the morning sit outside and hear the birds .The site is very well maintained the owners are so nice and very helpful . Toilets and showers are spotless .Washing machines and dryers are good to .We loved it so much that we have booked again for next year .

The site is easily accessed and provides a superb location for visiting the area to the north beyond Newquay and Crantock, south to the Roseland Peninsula and west to the tip of the county. The team on site are amazing- helpful; friendly and knowledgeable. The site is a total delight to stay at and we are keen to return for further holidays. A great destination.

We absolutely adored our stay at Porthtowan Tourist park, prior to arrival we were supported by pre-arrival information, it felt like we were valued and the stay would stress free. On arrival we were met with smiling faces and a family friendly atmosphere. Easy to navigate, flat pitches with plenty of space. The facilities were immaculate, I was impressed by the family bathrooms, it made it much easier with a little one that is reluctant to shower on campsites.We loved the games room, the kids enjoyed searching the ‘library’ and picking some puzzles to play with. Tennis net and free space was great and the park was a hit! Location was ideal, 1 mile from Porthtowan beach but a big hill on the return so will check out the bus timetable which was right outside the campsite. Really close to St Agnes and access to connecting network for Newquay and St Ives.Lovely pop up food venders as well, we loved the crepes for breakfast. This campsite was the right balance for our family. Thank

Our 5th year visiting Porthtowan Tourist Park and like all previous stays, it didn’t disappoint! Quietly situated and large enough but small enough to feel comfortable, this is an excellent base from which to explore this part of Cornwall. The facilities are outstandingly clean and well presented. There areas for children to play, but the site layout allows for peace and quiet if so wished. Pitch sizes are generous and there is a great selection of local food offerings that visit throughout the week (fresh coffee / crepes / freshly made pizzas), in addition to a small site shop for those essentials. The staff are amazing and super-friendly and the site is always immaculately presented. Overall, this place always feels like a home away from home - we just wish we lived closer to visit more often!
