After several years of staying at campsites around the country, we found that we kept returning to Porthtowan. We now store our caravan at the campsite and return here on a regular basis.

Very clean tidy site and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to sandy beach which as café restaurant shop and fish chip shop. Supermarket near by. Crepe van and pizza van visit site each week. Easy access from A30 and within an hours drive you can visit all the attractions and beautiful villages and beaches in Cornwall. Highly recommend this as a great base to explore the area.

Lovely time, helpful staff, clean facilities.

Easily put, you couldn't ask for a more relaxing stay than to stay at Porthtowan Tourist Park, not only is it relaxing it's clean well maintained and the owners make you feel part of the family. Beach within walking distance as is the Blue Bar on the beach, there is another bar restaurant in Porthtowan also fish & chips shop. Plenty of lovely coastal walks, plus Truro is 12-15mins away . We are already booked for later this year, so yes totally recommend.

The site and the warm friendly welcome, never disappoints, us, we have be returning to this site for several years now, due to its high standards. The site, pitches and facilities are all kept to a very high standard, this is even during the high season, which is when stay. Definitely recommend it to friends and family as we know they to will not be disappointed.

Wonderful trip to Porthtowan tourist park, this was our third year in a row and we have also rebooked for next year as well. Splendid stay once again and already looking forward to going back.

What a campsite. The site security is controlled by a keyless barrier. The site is spotless & the facilities are immaculate. There is a games room for pool and table tennis. There is a large area in the centre with a playground for the children to play on. The showers & toilets were up to date, clean & well maintained, all cleaned daily. The washing facilities again were clean & nice. The grounds were all maintained & constantly being cleared, maintained & looking pristine. The staff are all very friendly greeting you if they are passing. The site also has travelling food vans visiting each week. One morning a crepes & coffee van came, & one evening a stone cooked pizza van. At night a low noise policy was kept, which is great for families, but also like ourselves just to wind down with no noisy clubhouse on site. The site is a great place to explore Cornwall in the car with everything close by. Cannot praise enough, thank you & definitely would recommend to anybody. Thank You.

Campsite is so well looked after and kept spotlessly clean by Ange and Andrew.The toilets are always spotless as well.A lot of thought is given by the owners on how to give caravaners a great experience.Have been going there for around 15 yrs even before Andrew took the place over in which he greatly improved the site massively.The campsite is within easy reach of all tourist areas St ives -Newquay etc.To be fair the cost is quite expensive but what you get is well worth the money.There is strict rules which make the campsite so good.There are a separate dog walking area for dog owners which is great.Most dog owners keep their dogs on a lead when outside the caravans although there are always the odd owner who let their dog wander which I feel should be checked up on now and again.The campsite is well situated and although the weather cannot be controlled we always return there.,it can be very windy at times.We would never go anywhere else in Cornwall.
