We stayed last weekend for the first of the September firework championships in Blackpool and the Southport air show. The site has a small shop with basics, all full hard standing pitches, toilets and washing up facilities. The bathrooms were beautifully maintained, scrupulously clean. We didn't book to stay around, and with two small children, it's not that kind of site, as there is nowhere for them to play, all the pitches are gravel, with a road running in a circle throughout. For families with children, it was ideal as an overnight base but nothing to hang around for. Very clean and quiet site, I imagine ideal for couples who like a some peace! hopefully my kids didn't disturb anyone's :D

New, very neat site. Easy to find from Freckleton village using Google maps, but no signage. Very modern and well equipped toilets and toilets. Airfield very close, but noise not an issue and no flights at night. Buses from village to coast every 15 minutes

We were there 3 days and bins weren’t emptied. Fridge trailer constantly running in the next field all day. There’s a good exercise field for dogs. It’s a new campsite and just maybe needs a bit more attention to detail. Having said all that we enjoyed the close... We were there 3 days and bins weren’t emptied. Having said all that we enjoyed the close proximity to Lytham and would consider going back again.

The booking was straightforward, the welcome was warm. The pitch was large. We have twin axle van & awning, plus two cars. Fitted on perfect with space to bbq too. Toilet block facilities best I've experienced, attention to detail. Family bathroom, laundry room kitchen area all clean with everything needed for short or longer break. Small shop with enough stock for those little things you forget. Brilliant dog friendly site with dog walking field. Wifi excellent. Maybe needs park area for kids. A very well looked after site. 5 stars from me!

We only passed through, but wished, we could have stayed longer. Best campsite during our Great-Britain-Tour.
