Lovely holiday park staff very welcoming. This was our 3rd time here and will definitely be back again. Nice clean pitch we like to stay on the super pitches and facilities are nice and clean too. Woodys bar is a lovely place to eat and have a drink inside and out. But we do think they need a few more staff especially at weekends and maybe not moan if you’re trying to order food about how many food orders they have got and that the chef is busy. We found this a bit rude. But food is nice when you do get it.

Check-in was simple and I found my pitch easily - I found the numbering of the pitches slightly confusing, but the map provided was helpful. The park seemed to be busy but still didn't feel crowded and wasn't at all noisy. We had an evening meal in Woody's Bar and Restaurant and, despite being very busy including a large party of around 25 people, the service and food were excellent. We also decided to have lunch there the following day and were very pleased once again with the standard of food and the speed of service, despite it being busy inside and outside. As the purpose of our visit was to attend a wedding, we didn't explore the area, but I would be very happy to use the site again to return and visit Lincoln, Newark and the surrounding areas. For such a popular site, including day visitors and a popular fishing venue, I was surprised that there didn't seem to be any on-site provision for breakfast, either in Woody's or via a shop for fresh bread or baked goods.

Having grown up in the neighbouring village of Ancaster, I remember 'Woodland Waters' as the area where sand was extracted! The site has been transformed into a fantastic holiday venue and I have been very happy to return, having moved away many years ago. The lodges are spacious, clean, comfortable, very affordable and the site is great for families with children and pets. There is a variety of tourist destinations within easy reach, for example Belton House, Lincoln, Stamford, the east coast + the local towns of Grantham and Sleaford.I definitely recommend 'Woodland Waters' as a family holiday destination.

Visited previously in lodges and rooms and now our first time in a tourer. Everything was spot on as usual. Keep up the good work.

Easy check in, on arrival at rooms, large parking area and easy access to room. Spotlessly clean and tidy, lovely comfortable king size bed, TV, fantastic bathroom & walk in shower/ Good quality towels provided and shower gel. Lovely place to stay, easy walking distance to Woodys Bar - where we had a fabulous evening meal and the next day Sunday carvery which was excellent.

Lovely place nice and peaceful great place to switch off relax and husband loves the fishing The only problem I had on this visit was not been able to get to the top block of toilets/showers on my mobility scooter as it was hard core and I had to leave my scooter by the bins Also it needs more lights as it’s had to see at night unless you have a torch Would hilt recommend solar panel lights

Very well maintained, freindly staff in reception and Woodys Bar. Good size pitches for caravan/motorhome.

Great place to stay saff are brilliant too

It was our 1st time on a site after collecting our caravan so the nerves had really kicked in for us. My husbands 1st time towing too so our stress levels were up. To say we were looked after once we got here was an understatement. We were made to feel welcome and the lady at reception was lovely, offered help to get us set up as 1st time for us but we declined the offer .knowing that help was there if we needed it was so reassuring. Beautiful scenery, very clean toillet block , friendly greeting couldnt ask for more. Also the restaurant although full when i called did a take away service which was a bonus, the food was really nice and good value for money. Cant fault it here.
