Excellent campsite, well maintained. Although now has gone to adults only site. It's ideally located in secluded spot. Chris and Dee are really welcoming and maintain the sites well. The toilets and showers are immaculate and kept to a very high standard.

The campsite wardens were friendly and so welcoming. The showers were immaculate and the best hot shower I have ever had. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his fishing and it was the first time he had fished so near to the caravan.

Our second time here really enjoyed it again. Would happily return Really relaxing really calm and peaceful. Fishing was lovely owners are lovely just a lovely overall freindly vibe

We spent 2 nights at Jansons and were very impressed with the facilities, we stayed in one of the Pods, this was very well equipped for a short stay or longer, modern appliances, very clean and comfortable with tv and wi-fi, the staff are friendly and helpful and basically leave you to it unless you have a query and they are readily available and happy to help, we will be back later in the year for some nice relaxing time for me and some great fishing for m husband

I prefer the the caravan lake pitchers which includes a fishing peg i like caravan lake because of the species of fish i find the staff extremely helpful and friendly the tackle shop well stocked and a friendly service also the food in the cafe is excellent and it is good to see a new sitting in facility being built the shower and toilet facilities are second to none I will be returning during the summer but only if i can get on the caravan lake due to my disability I won’t be able to fish some of the lakes to sum up many thanks to the management and staff for a very welcoming stay see you again soon.

Lovely little site, nice people that run the site, very welcoming, toilets & showers very clean, husband enjoyed the fishing, i enjoyed the peace & quiet.

We had a fantastic stay at the fishery, we stopped for 2 nights in a glamping pod for a very reasonable price and we took our two dogs. The site is very clean and well looked after. The pod we stayed in was very spacious and had all facilities we needed. The fishing was excellent, very well stocked pools, it would be impossible to leave with dry nets. The owners were very nice too. Wes recommend to anyone, and we actually have, with my brother arriving the following weekend.

The briefest of stays but everything we needed. A lovely peaceful site, well equipped with the additional benefits of a large quiet area for walking the dogs and the most gorgeous dark skies with clear views of the stars.
