Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park is a third generation, family run caravan and camping site in North Devon, which sits overlooking 3 miles of beautiful and fabulous Golden Sands.

For over 30 years we have welcomed families and the generations that follow, helping to continue family traditions and make treasured self-catering Woolacombe holiday memories in our relaxed environment.

We even welcome dogs, so that every family member enjoys the holiday experience and feels included. So if it's a dog friendly holiday in Woolacombe you're after, you've come to the right place!

We offer a wide range of self-catering Holiday Homes to suit all budgets, from our modest and comfortable Ocean View Bronze Caravans to our quirky and popular Sea View Cabins. For that extra special experience, we have a selection of holiday homes with Hot Tubs, all with exceptional views of the North Devon coast!

If camping and touring is your thing, we do that too! All with breath-taking ocean or countryside views, 5 toilet and shower blocks with wetsuit and pet washing areas!

We are the perfect choice for a family orientated, relaxing holiday in North Devon. As the closest holiday park to Woolacombe Beach, our dedicated footpath to the beach will take you straight to the heart of Woolacombe through National Trust countryside within 15-20 minutes and allows you to avoid parking charges and explore the beautiful surroundings that North Devon has to offer.

Our enchanted off-road footpath takes you safely to Woolacombe beach and Woolacombe Village where you can enjoy family-friendly independent shops, restaurants, cafe's and bars, even with your furry friend if you decide to bring your dog!

If you prefer to relax from the Holiday Park, you can soak in the beautiful sunsets with a bottle of wine from our onsite shop or enjoy the views from the sun terrace in The Clubhouse with a cocktail and dinner.

As a small family owned and run business, we continually reinvest profits to improve the holiday park for your enjoyment. Over the past few years we have seen new caravans added to our fleet, chalet improvements, a new children’s park, Clubhouse, swimming pool and arcade refurbishment, a new sun terrace, new toilet and shower blocks for the camping and caravanning, road improvements, a new shop kitchen to extend their breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and recently we have added holiday homes with hot tubs, built more seasonal pitches and so much more.

During the evenings, the Clubhouse is 'the' place to be for a great night of family-friendly entertainment. Let loose and enjoy some music, dancing, first-class cabaret, cash bingo, game shows, and quizzes. This is the perfect rendezvous to unwind, kick back and make new friends. And if you fancy a bite to eat, there is a great selection of tantalising dishes to try. For those of you with a sweet tooth, we've got you covered with a selection of delicious desserts.

Great sea views from pitches and loved the swimming pools. Shop well stocked for essentials. Clubhouse enjoyable for occasional bingo. Also liked pool, table football and mini golf. It would be an improvement to have a clock viewable from outdoor pool and shelves near hairdryers.

We have been going to the holiday park for about 37 years. We use it as a base and go off to surrounding areas if possible but if it’s not possible all the facilities on the park are excellent. Staff are always very friendly and helpful shop facilities also excellent. Would recommend it to anyone but not wheelchairs users. But having said that I don’t think woolacombe is ideal for wheelchair users. I would give the holiday park 9 out of 10 because no one is perfect.

Quiet, relaxing site.

We have been coming to Woolacombe Sands for many years. We love the position of the site and how easy it is to walk down into Woolacombe.On our latest visit the caravan was lovely and clean, as it usually is. My only small complaint this year was reception when checking in. We were an hour early arriving at 3pm rather than 4pm. Reception advised the caravan had been empty all week so we could check in early.We were advised we would have to pay £15 to do this. This seems a little excessive and not particularly good customer service, but we paid as we wanted to check in.My complaint isn’t so much about having to pay it is the receptionist telling us ‘you can’t just expect to rock up and go in early’. I find that a little disrespectful and unprofessional. Perhaps a little training in that area is needed.

Excellent site

We had a great week here in April in our caravan the site is very clean and well kept. The walk into Woolacombe is very easy. And the beach is well kept in fact the whole area is excellent. Went in the club house and had a a good meal the entertainment was good and everywhere is dog friendly for well behaved dogs.The only thing I would say some people with touring units did not unwind there electric cables but left them coiled up the cables can get hot and have been known to catch fire this does need pointing out to everyone.Had a great stay and we’ve booked again for next year.

We have stayed many times in static caravans and our own campervan. Firstly the statics are super clean and well maintained. The camping pitches are spacious and clearly defined so you know how much space is yours without encroaching on neighbours.You get the best sunsets here and the town is around a 20 min walk down through the valley. The clubhouse does great food, large portions and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We don't have children ourselves but the club provides entertainment for all ages. We love how dog friendly the entire site is and that they are allowed in the club.Can't wait to return!

We have stayed there many times before was not as clean as before there was grease on the kitchen cabinet and up the window coffee on the floor in the kitchen clumps of mud in the bed room it was a shame because we love it there..

Excellent Holiday Complex,The staff are friendly and helpful. The site is spotless, very well maintained and the layout is thoughtful. I also like that a barrier is across the site entrance that is locked at night.Accommodation is top notch and comfortable too and of course this site has the best vista of Woolacombe.For me it's a bonus to look out at in a morning having your first drink of the day and relaxing in the evening watching the sunset.The owners and staff invest in the site each winter to provide holiday visitors with up to date facilities and I can't fault it. It's definitely a 5 star holiday complex.369 characters
